In Exercise 18, you will learn how to model a 'Honeycomb Curved Shell' by using surfacing and feature commands in Solidworks. The fade ending of the honeycomb pattern makes it more interesting to model. And, after following this video tutorial you will learn how to use the fill pattern technique and some new approaches to model the complex patterns in Solidworks.

Great work dude I tried perfectly did that model Haven am problem in sweep in circular profile doesn't exists in my software so I make 2 sketch for swept boss

your hex shape is stretched. Meaning, the hex at the top of the dome is not the same shape as the ones near the rim.

When is says “do not use through all” for the extruded cut what should I use instead ?

You can use 'Through All' only which creates a though all cut in one direction. In the video i says don't use 'Through All - Both' because this will give some errors which fill pattern

You could’ve just used emboss cut, and done a different depth for each concentric shape. Would’ve been done in 1min

Your tile is deceiving. You're not creating the pattern on a curved surface - you're creating a fill pattern on a flat surface and cutting a curved surface. Very different.

this is no curved driven pattern - so 12 minutes just to extrude cut on curved surface with blind - useless tutorial
