No science at all but concur on the ASMR. Falling asleep watching this. Wouldn't mind trying this, not for the "healing" but just the sheer relaxation of it.

I understand how you are seeing it, but I am actually adjusting individual vertebrae. and the hand waving is not really waving it...I am placing my thumb in the suboccipital area close to posterior aspect of the mastoid and feeling for subtle changes in the muscle tone. The patient getting better and able to move better, improved ranges of motion and less pain is enough of evidence to see the effectiveness. In order to know where to adjust, you have to know anatomy and nerve distribution. Thank you for your comments it helps me understand in how you perceive the video :)

What I am saying is the procedure has not been subjected to the same standards as say, physical therapy or antibiotics where we know it works for "x" situation regardless of whether people believe in it or not. Much like applied kinesiology, there is the "people get better" argument which is not scientific, it is anecdotal. And yes, part of my job in ST is knowing the cranial nerves, etc.

Typically how I check if their body is improving...by checking their ranges of motion of their area of complaint, or leg checks and heel to buttock checks and other orthopedic testings. These are not shown on the video. I am sure in the future we will have more evidence to back it up... like EEG and so on. what matters to me now getting people out of their misery and get their health back and most of the time people come to a chiropractor as a last resort after trying other forms of therapy.
