Wow, this right here was raw emotion. It just oozed from the screen. Most people on here are giving this man accolades, which he deserves. However, this young lady was equally vulnerable, brave and I love that she showed accountability for her mistakes which shows a lot of growth. I just want the best for both of them!!!

Someone once told me “love isn’t enough”. Boy was that person right! My ex and I loved each other so much but we had a lot of issues. There was a point when we were fighting every single day. Like them, we had a mediator (well, a couple of mediators, different times). Our relationship was still not salvageable. I wish we had a chance to talk like this. Unfortunately, he passed away 3 years ago. I didn’t get the chance to tell him that I loved him. I eventually forgave him. I miss him so much, it hurts. Oh what I would do/give to be able to tell him I forgive in person and tell him how much I loved him?!

I feel like he held back a little. He probably had so much more on his heart, but she probably hasn’t changed. So, I feel like he didn’t say everything that he wanted to. It’s like talking to a brick wall. No shade to the Queen, but she still has to grow and learn. She thought that she could do him any kind of way and that he would never leave, now, 2 years later, she’s suffering. A man will not love many women in his lifetime. When he does… it shouldn’t be played with. He proposed. He wanted a future with her. Moving forward, it may be difficult for him to be that vulnerable in another relationship. It's interesting how people had an overall good relationship and one thing happens and it burned to the ground. Some find their way back, and some never talk let alone see each other ever again.

I meant my husband at 20yrs old. It was the 1st time I realized what love felt like and heart break 3 years later. I moved away didn't see him for 5 years and the day I saw him every emotion buried resurfaced. When we decided to give it another go I told him either he was all in or we were nothing at all. He said God told me you were the one. We have been together 13 years married 9 and 2 kids. But anyway looking at this I can tell you closure is very important because without it takes longer to heal emotionally.

It seems like she’s dealing with self-worth and self-esteem issues that cause her to sabotage good situations.But it seems like she’s learning and growing. I hope that she heals and moves forward in a positive way.

When you make mistakes in relationships like this you can only HOPE you learn and grow from it. Too many of us take our mistakes with us into our other relationships and we never truly learn and grow. this story is similar to mine. BUT first before I share my story I want to say I admire so much that this BEAUTIFUL couple was able to sit and have a true conversation of reflection and love for each other despite their differences and past. Their mutual respect is amazing. I felt every emotion in this video that even brought tears to my eyes. I even heard their HEARTBEATS picked up from the microphone clipped on their shirts. God bless them and I hope they are both able to HEAL from the breakup because the pain is truly deep. Then I hope they Both are able to find love again in the future that doesn't bring them pain, and instead brings them happiness and marriage... My ex left me in April this year. our 3 year relationship wasn't bad at all. we were so in love. with so many plans to spend our lives together. But Nov. 2020 we got in a big argument for the first time while I was out of the state for a couple weeks visiting family, and it just went down hill after that. It wasn't anything serious but it led to many issues that made him give up on us and fall out of love with me. It was so difficult for me because not only did i miss him but his dog I love with all my heart. I would cry so much missing him and his dog. I never got to see him (the dog) again. Also during the first year of us dating I bought my ex a heart shaped pillow that he slept with every night.. I still wonder if he has it or threw out .. i'll never know because he broke up with me a couple days before my birthday in April this year and on my birthday we texted dry messages back and forth and i told him how hurt I was and he never responded to this day. He completely disappeared from my life. I am 26 years old and he has been my first and only person iv'e dated. This first breakup almost cost me my life from the depression this year. But im staying strong and I do sometimes still grieve the breakup but im a lot better. I hope I meet someone in the future that doesnt give up or fall out of love again. Its too painful to experience. i wonder if he ever thinks of me or misses me.. so heartbreaking to think about..

I’ve been delaying to watch for 2 months finally caved in. It was truly heart breaking to watch… to know that love isn’t enough to make a relationship work.

It goes to show that sometimes it takes more than love for 2 people to be together. This was a very mature conversation.

This seemed like such an impactful conversation for both of them. I'm proud of Jeron for giving himself the space to be honest and vulnerable. It seems like it took a lot for him to even speak to her after what happened between them. I'm proud of Annalisa for holding firm to her truth and acknowledging where she went wrong in the relationship and setting a boundary on what makes her happy. I pray that the two of them heal from this breakup and that it leads to more clarity and happiness in whatever they pursue.
