Well, apparently, the team that scores brilliant tries, has a lot of wins, a great fan base are a boring team! ;)

People who say the chiefs are boring haven’t really watched them play at all. They’re almost perfectly balanced, speed, power, skill

@@qcthesxientist you clearly haven’t seen more than the highlights for Exeter, watch a match, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how well and diverse their play is. Yes, they are nigh unstoppable when just a few meters out from the line, but they also have some of the tries of the season

Just bitter people who know their clubs can't face up to the Chiefs, let them say what they want, they'll be watching us hold the prem title for many years to come as we should have for the last four years

Highlight reels show teams scoring the try not the lead up to it. The people who say Chiefs are boring do not watch rugby matches they watch highlights.

There play style is start slow and tire the other team with the forwards then this allows the game to open would have 4 finals but. They had to play a team that cheated 3 times

proper rugby club, been a fan for years and will be for years, always a joy to watch and to me building through the phases is never boring to begin with, it's a sign of a steady game

You could make a video like this about any team - even Sale. It would be interesting to see how Chiefs compare with other teams in stats like proportion of pick and gos from the ruck or 1st receiver/forward crash ball as I suspect their's would be highest. The efficiency and reliability of Rob Baxter's style can't be debated though

I agreed the chiefs need more crude for their running game, the power game is all too well maligned. I love the chiefs, however, even with O’Flaherty and Hogg STILL have not replaced Cordero’s skills. New recruit Hodge is a great acquisition but X factor remains missing in the back line.

Cordero would have stayed if they could have done so without breaching the Salary cap I'm sure. That's one of the differences between the Chiefa and other clubs who dream up imaginitive ways to get around the rules....and where does that leave thwm in the long run?

I for one enjoyed the game you lot played against the Quins. Certainly wasn't boring with how much it switched from side to side, especially with the "offense is the only defense" nature of the Quins (how else would we have the highest amount of points scored against us of the top 4 this season while also topping most points lol)

Exeter don't make a secret of it, if teams packed the breakdown then they would go wide. They only pick and go because teams don't pack the breakdown. Its easy to say that 90% of their tries are pick and go but thats only because they are playing what's in front of them.

The "Boring" tag comes with being a strong team. The Leicester team of old, and the Sarrie's team of 5-6 years ago., were both branded boring, simply because they were good. Funny how when Exeter started challenging, they went from 'Everyone's favourite second team' to 'boring'.

I'm glad that the "everyone's favourite second team" mantra has disappeared, as it comes across as quite patronising! This time ten years ago we never experienced top - flight rugby, now we are considered (according to statistics and data) the third best club team in the world behind leinster and the Canterbury crusaders! We overturned the apple cart, so the old guard of Bath and Leicester have never given us props or dues! Probably because where we are now is where they were 30 and 20 years ago!
