2000 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 exhaust manifold flange bolts. Bolts are rusty and don't want to come out. Cut the bolts to 3/8” long and then used a M12 x 1.75 coupling nut to repair it.

You're welcome. Sorry you have the same issue. I'm very thankful the two bolts on the passenger side eventually came loose...with a little bit of PB Blaster and a lot of back and forth movement. I really really wish the drivers side would've behaved the same. Good luck!

That worked too good I doubt u have an issue should’ve used some high temp loc tite thread locker but I bet ur fine

High temp loctite is a great idea. The threads on the studs have rusted away somewhat, unfortunately, so a threadlocker could really help.
