Good luck with your exhibition! Absolutely beautiful landscape paintings. I especially love the snow scenes with the sunrises. I can't imagine painting such large paintings in water colour! Thank you for sharing the exhibiting process.

It takes me a week to find the right spot for one of my humble watercolors, so I can't imagine how you did it in 2 hours. They look great and they ARE great, and I hope you will sell many and become very rich, but you are not allowed to retire. Best of luck!

It's so refreshing to see you displaying your beautiful works unframed. I haven't approached any galleries about displaying my own paintings yet because I couldn't bear the hassle of mounting and framing them all. You've inspired me, thank you!

In the U. S., galleries require mats, frames and paintings behind glass, preferably U.V. protected. Our gallery, just made a wonderful change, however, and now as an alternative, we can skip the mat and glass and use Dorland's wax to protect our artwork. A minimum width of 2.5 inch frame must be used because there will be no mat to surround the painting. I saw one done this way, and I think it looks cool, like an oil painting. I think I will adhere my painting to a board, then apply U. V. protective sealer, then the Dorland's wax. In your case, I like the simplicity of no mat, frame or glass,. It goes with your gallery. Have you tried mounting the paintings on wood box panels, and then apply Dorland's wax?

I think you’ve displayed them very well, and grouped rationally, according to colour or motif. The only one that seemed to me out of place was the landscape between two northern lights paintings, but on second thoughts, the main things is the artwork itself, not the placement. I too love how your work needs no frame!! Best of luck Christian.

Thank you! I agree and that one was the hardest to place.

Do you find that people are more hesitant to purchase an unframed painting? I seem to run into that question often. “How do I frame this?” Do you find that your beautiful artwork sells better when it is unframed? Thank you! Love your work!

No I actually people like choosing their own frame.

Beautiful paintings 😍 But I'm confused. Are the paintings hanging from string?
