George Clinton and his band Parliament-Funkadelic revolutionized funk sounds and came up with No. 1 singles like "Flash Light" and "One Nation Under a Groove." His first solo album, 'Computer Games,' was a hit in the early '80s and featured another No. 1 track "Atomic Dog."
EXIT is the two-time winner of the “Best Major European Festival” award along with the continuous recognition by the global music stars, fans and media alike.
Held each year at the 18th Century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad in Serbia, EXIT started as a student movement whose massive protests brought down the oppressive regime in Serbia. EXIT became the first mass event to gather all the people in Balkans after a long decade of divisions.
Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, it is the social relevance of EXIT that has made it unique and globally recognized hosting stars like The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, Madonna, The Killers, Sex Pistols, Guns’n’Roses, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Patti Smith, Motorhead, LCD Soundsystem, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Andy C, DJ Shadow, and countless many more at 30+ stages in nearly two decades since its inception in 2000. “George and P-Funk,” I grew up listening to your music and you all always leave it all on stage. You all show is electrifying. George and P-Funk still rock and I like the way you have incorporated your Grand Daughters into the act. They with the other young lady are smoking hot-they’re fine. The musicians were awesome. But, those ladies are sizzling-great performance.

Unfortunately, this version of P-Funk is no where near as tight as the THE P-FUNK EARTH TOUR OF 1978. The talent was immense compared to this group. Other, than Mr. Clinton himself. The true star of this version is Blackbyrd McKnight . I just saw them in Cincinnati on June 1, 2019 and Mr. McKnight was the star of the show. Mr. Michael " Kidd Funkadelic " Hampton wasn't even in attendance as rumored. This show is even superior to this past weeks concert in Cincinnati, and it is basically the same group except for possibly the drummer Unfortunately, there are so many past legends not with us anymore that were superior talents where none other will ever measure up.

Shame on Exit Festival's technical staff for keeping the band's microphones on so low volume in comparison to the music (especially George's, considering he was 75 years old that year), ruined the concert feel for me while attending this one, and the band ROCKED!

That song was like a early Funkadelic sound. They were a rock band before they were actually called funk music. Funkadelic and Jimi Hendrix help create the hard rock or heavy metal sound.

Great gig and I'm loving the new lineup, but with Mudbone in the band, no one else should be singing 'vanish in our sleep'. He leaves the stage at that point - it's just disrespectful to him - he OWNES that song on the recording.

I saw GC & P/F yesterday in Stockholm, Sweden with a line-up very much like this one. Exept for GC himsel, the only one i reckognize is Blackbyrd on guitar. Anyone who can tell me who the others are??

George Clinton isn't closely affiliated with Hillary or Bill as far as I know. Those are reasonable Clintons but not perfect. Maybe George and Funkadelic are perfect by now. I said something nice about Vladimir Putin so what do I know. Russkis.

Filip Šinik the song is called "Up For The Downstroke", probably the beginning of the major commercial success of Parliament during the early 70's. "Chocolate City" came next and the rest is history...
