No one does it like EXO. There's really something special about this group. Being so diverse (each member has his own sound), amazing vocals & dance skills, incredible stage presence & visuals. Everything & anything they do whether on live stage or studio are masterful & of excellent quality.

This part of the concert which us fans just call the “club section” is still my favorite memory with EXO. Watched this in our country’s stop and the energy is just as electric even with lesser fancy stage lights. Also, watching some songs performed live really did give me a whole new appreciation for a bunch of EXO songs. For me personally, EXO made me feel just as excited and included whether I was in the VIP section up front or the general admission way at the back. And yes, the technical booth can control the color of our lightsticks. SM was the first to have such technology. If my memory serves me right, the EXO lightstick version 2 was the first to have it. Originally, we all had to download an app to sync our lightsticks but these days it can be synched when you enter the venue.

Been to many Kpop concerts but only EXO can give you a full quality concert. From vocals to musicality to stage production to everything~ 👌

Speaking of taking a song and switching things up, I’m sure it’s been mentioned before, but Wolf Remix is a must. Wolf is that song you love or you love to hate. They took it and made it into a stage performance that no one can complain about. It’s usually bundled with Mama + Monster Otherwise, Boomerang and Wait, both live in Seoul. Great b-sides with great performances!

Exo producers/arrangers will have some of the songs remixed or rearranged to fit the theme of the concert. And I honestly didn't mind when they did so with their songs. You will have a different appreciation of it compared to the studio version. I have been to an Exo concert (not the one on the video) and to hear them live is so surreal. Because when they said Exo sound like they do in the studio when they do live or even sounds better were not lying. The first time I got to watch them live doing the opening song, I could hardly believe my ears coz they sound SO good I thought they were lipsyncing. But then they will sing it slightly different from the studio version or they will interact while they were singing so I knew it was live. Haters do not know what they are talking about by saying Exo lipsyncs. They will need to watch a concert to know this isn't true. Thank you for this react. Waiting patiently for your reaction to their sub unit (EXO-SC) and solo album ( Chen 3, Baekhyun 3, Kai 3, D.O 1 , Suho 2, , Xiumin 1, Sehun single "On Me" and Lay). Also their collab such as Baekhyun singing rock song "Hurt", Chanyeol & Raiden "Yours". Oh, don't forget their OST (Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol).

This is actually a smaller venue than they're used to, and there are other performances of some of these songs that are even more audience crazy, and with better camerawork and lighting....maybe from 45-60,000 seats like in the TokyoDome. They will sell out a 3-nite venue in seconds...how am I supposed to get in? People would travel from around the world to attend and vlog their weekend there...if I could get a ticket there would be no doubt I would travel! Exo have traveled and toured the world and the States before. They do remix the songs to fit the set...then show vcrs until the next set. They get winded just doing this set of songs. And their concerts are anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 hours long. Still they put on great shows. 💙🌺

The few concerts I went to when I was younger like Linkin Park, Blink 182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Backstreet Boys I loved when they performed the songs exactly like the album. However, especially Kpop, I love how they mix it up. Mamamoo changed up their songs during their recent concert even their solo songs and it was beyond amazing. I hope KARD does the same thing when I see them next month.

That last song, Run, is one of my favorites! Interesting how you mentioned them doing different versions of their songs. The opening guitar solo by Chanyeol is their biggest hit, Growl and as far as I remember, that short solo was the only time it played in that concert. In fact, I am pretty sure every concert I've watched (on youtube, I WISH I was there) they have done a different version of Growl. I love that they switch it up, personally. I also wanted to point out Chanyeol going back and forth between guitar, rapping and DJ-ing that whole time. He is EXOs most multi-talented member. Not sure if you are interested in individual member guides, the do take up a lot of time but here is a good one for Chanyeol. Drop That is one of my favs live, it's so vibrant and joyous. This set with Chanyeol jn his element is brilliant, his enthusiasm is catching and Lay is there, which is always a welcome bonus. There are two other sets with it in that I love, one at the MAMA awards with Lightsaber, the other in their Seoul ElyXion concert with Diamond, Coming Over, Run and Power. As a big fan of Kai, like that he is in this one. They also performed it with Machine and Full Moon - which is a rap song. Drop That is always upbeat and it is fun to see how even in this there can be nuances according to which other songs are in the group, or whether our wonderful Chanyeol is let loose.

Hello,Hello. Very nice reaction, I find it interesting hearing your take between the differences in the kpop scene to the metal scene. As for why they maybe change the set so much in the concert I have a few thoughts. Part of it might be marketing and part of it might have to due with how songs are released in Korea. I believe you already know this but when a new album and main title is released many kpop groups go on music shows to perform it. Since this groups perform the same song and choreography for at least many weeks not to mention in other venues or end of year award shows this allows the fans(mostly in Korea) plenty of time to catch a ticket to see it live(almost to the point to be getting sick of it like EXO did with KoKobop lol)) so once group announce their concert tours, the fans are excited to see how they can change it up to suit the high cost of going to the concert. This also creates a "limited edition" feel to the concerts cause there is just not enough time to do all their discography, so in order to appease those who want to hear their older songs and satisfy those who wanna see something new, SM possibly thought the latter was more profitable in getting more people to buy a ticket before they stop performing their older songs live entirely(like Black Pearl). Especially since EXO is known as a group with a fanbase with a high percentage of people having loved their b-sides just as much as their main tracks. But...these are my 3 AM thoughts so I could be wrong ha ha. Anyway, I'll look forward to your next EXO reaction!
