If Call me Baby sounds familiar- its genre is New Jack Swing! Popularised by black boy bands in the late 80s- early 90s. (Groups like New Edition and Boys II Men) the song itself was produced by Teddy Riley who made a lot of huge songs in 90s-2000s! SM Entertainment (EXO's company, as well as NCT's and arguably the first kpop company ever) has always worked with famous producers and coreographers from all across the globe!

Please check out Tempo by EXO and Lay’s song “Lit”! It’s literally like a movie, the budget was INSANE! BTW: EXO started as a 12 member group, but was left with 9 members since 2015. Lay is their only Chinese member left and is also not in most of the MVs during and after 2017. He has his own company and releases solo music. He makes a cameo in EXO’s Tempo mv but has no lines. And June 7, 2021 he was in EXO’s Don’t Fight The Feeling mv WITH singing lines but he was green screened in. You can watch any reaction to that MV and the reactor will be crying, I was fking SOBBING bro. We hadn’t seen him AND heard his voice in an EXO mv in a while so that was a really emotional moment for us. Sorry for the rambling
