B-Sides are just all the songs on the album that aren't the title track, which are usually the title of the album. For example, the title track on this album is Mama, which is their debut song as well. What is Love and History, that you just reacted to, are both B-side and are actually both pre-debut songs amazingly! For the rest of the B-sides on this album, there's no MV's but you can find lives of it. Usually reactors that do B-Sides, view the lyric videos if there aren't any MV's, if you wanted to save the lives for later. EXO are credited with starting and defining the 3rd generation, so this would have been at the end of the 2nd. Whatever, most of their music was ahead of its time which is why it stand up so well even now - with a few fashion choices excluded! From the very start, they did not fit in boxes and they continue to find their own journeys in group and solo work. It is part of what makes them so exciting.

Now that means Wolf is next in line, idk if you'll like it because it's that kind of song that grows on you after listening to it more than once, tho it has ones of the best highnotes battle between our main vocalists, but we do suggest to react to Wolf remix live stage in Japan, it's a hundred times better than the original studio version

EXO was created to be different! They don't follow trends, they carve their own niche which clearly sets them apart from other groups. EXO can slay any genre as proven by their impressive discography. Their vocal and harmonies are unmatched. While their studio recordings are first rate, EXO live is a totally different experience altogether. So proud to stan them!

EXO's "History" MV is supposed to be an introduction for EXO and it was meant to begin to establish their storyline and concept as a group. So to understand their "History" MV, here is what you need to know: As aliens from Planet Exo, the members are about to be sent to Earth on a mission. "History" is thought to be about how EXO are still on Planet Exo and they are preparing to be sent to Earth. So that is why it has a very futuristic look and feel to it. There isn't a whole lot of story because it is a pre-debut MV so this was meant to just introduce the members and establish their concept. "History" is EXO's second pre-debut track. It was released in 2012 -- about 2 months after their first pre-debut song and MV "What is Love," and about 2 months before "Mama," which is EXO's official debut -- so this is more than 9 years ago. "History" is the introduction of the storyline and it explains what led up to the events in "Mama." In the EXO-K version of "History" you only saw the EXO-K (Korean) members -- Kai, D.O, Suho, Sehun, Baekhyun and Chanyeol -- singing, and in the middle of the song you see them flash to the EXO-M (Chinese) members -- Lay, Kris, Chen, Luhan, Xiumin and Tao -- however, if you watch the EXO-M version you will see that the EXO-M members are the main characters in the story and they only show the EXO-K members briefly. This establishes how the two groups are separate and yet still are all part of one group as EXO. Both versions of their MVs may look the same on the surface, but the story is slightly different because it is being told from a different angle or different perspective in each version. Fun fact: if you compare the English translation of the Korean and Mandarin lyrics, you will see that the songs are slightly different. Because, as the intro to "Mama" points out, the two halves of EXO stand on the same ground and see different things and they stand on different grounds and see the same thing -- they are separate groups and yet they become one, etc. Hence, their songs and story are the same and yet different. To understand the story in their "History" MV this is one time where it is helpful to look up the English translation of the lyrics. The song is called "History" and in the lyrics they talk about making history. It's about failing at something and trying again to make it right. So, the theory is that in this part of the story EXO made some sort of unknown "big mistake" on their planet, so they have been sent to Earth to try and right their wrongs by trying to prevent the Red Force from causing a "big mistake" or prevent humanity from allowing a "big mistake" to happen on Earth. They are trying to prevent "History" from repeating itself. And they want to make "History" here on Earth. It establishes the whole reason why EXO are fighting against the Red Force and why they need to find the Tree of Life and restore peace. They can't let whatever happened on their planet happen again on Earth, etc. The part of the dance where they put their hands in their pockets and shake their pants, I interpret as the nervousness and uncertainty that they are feeling as they are about to embark on this new journey as they prepare to go to Earth and also as a representation of the nerves and excitement they are feeling as they are about to debut. As you can see, even the choreography is designed to tell the story. However, just so you know, we didn't fully understand that was what the MV and song was trying to tell us, until several years later, after we had more context to go on after we had several other MV stories and more information. But that is why we say, if you want to try and follow EXO's story you have to pay attention to everything and you have to remember as much detail as you can about everything you have ever seen and heard from EXO. Because although you might think you understand one piece of EXO's story, with every new release from EXO, we get a little more information, and, sometimes it helps to confirm what we thought to be true and sometimes it turns the whole theory on its head and makes us realize what was happening wasn't what we thought after all. What complicates this even more is the fact that almost nothing in their storyline is in chronological order, so we EXO-Ls (EXO fans) have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of everything any of the members are involved in to try and piece it all together and figure out where each part fits within their larger storyline. And I literally mean everything, from their teaser videos, to their MVs, to their song lyrics and live performances, concert VCRs (videos played in between sets at their concerts) and even some of their choreography, as well as their sub-unit and solo work. Everything EXO does is connected. And now that story has branched out even further to include all of SM Entertainment's groups and artists storylines. Everything that SM Entertainment produces is all part of one giant story, like a giant graphic novel or mystery movie series, and it's all connected to the SM universe storyline, that all started with EXO in 2012. Each new MV or project is another chapter in the story, and it's up to us fans to figure out where it all fits in the larger storyline. To see their dancing better, if you haven't already, check out the dance practice for "History," the choreography is very unique. They have an EXO-K dance practice and an EXO-M dance practice. And it's one of their few choreographies where the two groups are not combined because they were completely separate groups in this MV.

Although History and What is Love are included on Mama, they are actually pre- debut songs and were initially released as singles, so was Mama the song. Their vocals were already amazing even before debut. I really love it especially when they sing together. Their voices are so different but you couldn't tell when they sing together

A bside is just a song that doesn't get promoted as much. A title track or aside will usually get an mv, choreo, and will be promoted often on music shows, interviews, etc.

I love your reactions to EXO and I'm so glad to see you becoming an EXOL and giving them the love and recognition! You really should listen to the EXO-M versions of the songs too because 3 of the members that originally were in M are still in EXO and they shine in M. Then you can really feel the extent of all of the members talent, even during the early days! Xiumin, Chen, and Lay aren't featured in the Korean songs until the combined the two groups into one so you don't get to experience their debut talent if you don't check out the EXO-M versions too! Plus some of the story is included in the EXO-M versions of the MVs so if you don't watch them you'll miss some stuff!

The bsides is what songs comes in the album they usually don't have an mv only the title song of the album have an mv but some times one or two bsides have an mv just like what is love and history in the album mama they are bsides

B-sides are all the Non- title tracks. usually albums will have 1 or 2 title tracks with MVs. All the rest are b-sides. Back in the day, when you had a 45 album, the a-side would be the hit song, then you flip over the 45 to the b-side would just be another song on the album

The others songs in the Mama mini album "Angel" ( is sing only by D.O, BaekHyun and Suho. *The Michael they talk in the song is ArchangelMichael) "Two Moons" (sing Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun and feat Key from Shinee) and "Machine" B-sides are the rest songs of an album that doesn't have Music videos. In the case of Mama album, "what is love" and "History" are B sides, but they were chosen as pre debut songs to represent exo. Most albums have 1 title track ( Mv and promotions are done with this song and sometimes 1 B side will be used I live for music shows) but their album "Ex'act" has 2 title tracks "Monster" and "Lucky one". They both have mvs. You should also know that Exo for full albums they have something called repackaged album, is the same album with 3 added songs, and from those 3 songs they get a new MV. For example "Tempo" is the title track of their album "Don't mess up my Tempo" the repackaged album is "Love Shot" Mini albums like "Mama" and the winter specials ("Miracles in December", "Sing for you", "For Life" and "Universe"), "Obsession" album, and the special album "Don't fight the feeling" Don't have repackaged versions.

For this first album the title track is MAMA (you've reacted to that already) the rest of the songs are WHAT IS LOVE, HISTORY, ANGEL, TWO MOONS and MACHINE. Not all songs have MV you see so to listen to them you can check out lyric videos or do the live performances..they still perform their old songs in their concerts so if you want to see them perform it live with choreo and everything 😉😊. B side means not a title track so exo only performed at concert. Most of exo L could watch exo’s every single of songs performing if they could went to concert. Exo released 6 regular albums and had have a 5 times official exo planet series tour concert. ( exo planet #1,2,3…#5 until 2019 December)

B side is every song that is not the title track on the album. Title track have music videos, b sides usually don't with few exceptions like double title track (two title tracks) or pre debut songs or special releases) Hope that helps :)

Please, at some point, PLEASE listen to the Chinese versions of their earliest MVs! You are literally only hearing/seeing half the group in these early releases because they had a split group concept. MAMA, What is Love and History literally only have 6 out of 12 members, and Wolf, Growl and Overdose have all 12 but the parts are shuffled to strongly favor one side of the group over the other, so it really makes a difference. After Overdose is when some of the members of EXO-M start leaving, so they don't really do the split group concept after that. So many reactors get through EXO's entire discography having barely heard Kris or Luhan perform and it makes me so sad!!!

B sides are all tracks that aren’t the title track. I can tell you where the name comes from! Back in the day, singles were sold on 45s, which were a smaller size than a vinyl album. The title song was on one side, always marked with an A, and another song off the album was on the flip side, marked with a B. 45s rotated at 45 rpm. Full albums were 33 1/3 rpm (though they were just called albums). You set the speed on your record player for whichever one you wanted to play. Source: I’m really, really old.

The B sides for EXO besides the EXO M songs are any song that isn’t promoted as their title track. So many don’t have MV’s but are popular for their dance practices or performances. The EXO M title songs will have MV’s that mirror the EXO K ones but with the other members. To search type in “EXO M History or Mama” and you’ll get the other version.

B-sides are other singles from one album without MV but all songs very good to listen and you can hear that only when they do concert or live stage.

My friend and I had a whole thing about what kpop calls title tracks and b-sides. Title tracks are not always the song named after the title of the album. (In the exo album exodus, the title track is call me baby even though there’s a song called exodus on the same album). Title tracks are the promoted track of that album, meaning it has a music video and they perform it at music shows. There can be multiple title tracks usually two that are usuallh equally promoted. (Monster and Lucky One were double title tracks of the album Ex’act where both getting MVs). B-sides are not the lesser quality songs nor are they songs that are merely added onto an album. B-sides refer to the songs that are not the title track meaning they are not promoted.

Boy just wait till you hear their ballads!! Since you're starting Exo journey from the beginning I think you should react to *Chen and baekhyun - I really didn't know (immortal song)* next which they performed while they were rookies.

As a reference A-side and B-side was a term started back when a record or cassette was used to record music. The A-side of a the record or cassette used to contain the tracks that were to be heavily promoted or that were the most likely to become hits.For example, the title track would be on the A-side of the record or cassette. The B-side would then generally contain the lesser known tracks and or tracks that would have little to no promotion. So now stepping into the year 2022 when cassette and records are pretty much a part of history lol, B-sides are the tracks that are not the title track and have little to no promotion. No Music video and are generally not promoted in music programs and no choreography attached to them. Now this does not mean that the songs aren’t good because as a general rule at least where EXO is concerned their B-side are fire.

In every album, there's the title song which has an MV and there are the other songs that are called b-sides. What EXO-Ls mean when they say they're great, it's that in some albums, you can only focus on the title song as it's the most catchy, but when it comes to EXO, their b-sides are all as catchy as the title songs!

Exo is the famous kpop boygroup in 3rd generation. They belong in 3rd gen.

First of all thank you for your reactions and I hope you just continue like this in the way you are now. After that I want to tell you again (I said it before) exo normally have 2 mv for their titles until end of 2014 cause before exo have 2 unit exo m (who sing in chinese and promote their song in china with 4 chinese members [Lay is still in exo and others left] and 2 korean [Xiumin and Chen]) and exo k (who sing in korean and promote in korea with 6 korean members). So it'd be good if you watched both the exo m and exo k mvs in one reaction so you can see Chen (who is the best vocaist in world), Xiumin and Lay talent.

The people around the middle that didn’t sing are the EXO M members, exo had 12 members split in K for korean and M for mandarin so the chinese half of the group(that includes korean members too) are only singing in the chinese version. They had 4 chinese members out of which 3 left so it’s only Lay, first one when they are shown. Later they started promoting as EXO so 9 members.
