SM and YG artists have constantly been cheated out of awards even after they met the criteria and they would have won. As a result, they're now boycotting award shows. It's been twice now that companies have admitted they mingled with EXO's physical/digital sales numbers- others I'm not sure about. SM and YG are just tired of it at this point. JYP is the only one of the Big 3 not boycotting the award shows as he has a good relationship with them.
