The whole thing was there concept since the beginning. I'm pretty sure y'all know about their power concept: Xiumin= Frost, Suho= water, Lay= Healing, Baekhyun= Light, Chen= Lightning, Chanyeol= Fire, D.O=Earth/Power, Kai= Teleportation and Sehun=Wind. Ik that sounds kinda cringe but EXO work it so well that it's pretty amazing. So anyways. On with it. There are 2 EXO'S. X-EXO AND EXO. The X-EXO is the "fake" exo who have been taking over exo planet. In the monster mv you saw baekhyun and how he saved all of exo. It is theorized that x-exo and exo shit started then. Also in the tempo mv you saw shadows behind the white walls the real EXO was trapped. There main concept is based off of EXO PLANET there beginning. In the end you'll see that the planet burned and tho it's not completely confirmed EXO has taken over. This isn't everything but mostly covers this mv.

I used to watch Exo mvs normally but when I saw obsession comeback was happening soon I looked more into the theories/storyline. It’s a lot to explain from the beginning and a little confusing it’s soo good. Since there’s so much I’ll just explain what happens in this mv. (It’ll make more sense if you watch a theory/storyline video before obsession) Anyways in this music video Exo and X-Exo(their clones) are fighting the war of their lives to see who is the stronger being. At the end we see a planet burning and we’re thinking that Exo lost or that’s Exo planet. For now that’s all of the storyline till the next comeback.
