Romantic Universe MV tells us about Red Force training X-EXO before they were released around the world. Red Forces wants to make sure that X-EXO are able to socialize and act like normal human being. They learnt how to use ATM machine, eat properly, and play pingpong. X-EXO were continued being supervised day by day while getting harder challenge after passing the previous one. In order to make X-EXO resemble a human being, Red Forces also developed the personality of X-EXO into more human. At 1:32 X Xiumin was tested if he had initiative to tidy up the mess, but X Xiumin didn't bother to pick up the fallen vase, so he was considered failed.

Kim Soyoung Making money in china?I don't know if your being sarcastic over here or what,but he was busy promoting Exo in china.You do know that china has a population like 1.5 billion and the chinese market is huge.To promote a band,a song or anything in China is not easy, especially after what happened to Exo. 3 CHINESE members left and it had a huge bad impact on exo.so it's lay's responsibility to promote exo over there.I don't think he was just busy making money but with that he was busy promoting his band too,because exo is a "South - Korean Chinese band" not a South korean band.

FORREAL AVEX? THE SHORT MV? Lay stans are already pressed that he wasn't in the first 2 minutes (Btw, I'm shocked, It's taking you guys awhile to take down the 2minute video of THIS that was leaked 2 days ago). This is nothing new. I was honestly expecting a Full mv since this is their Japanese debut. But what can I do as a mere fan? Nothing, but buy & support my babies, But this is a big reason J-Pop is frustrating. The liscensing & Piracy policies are too strict, it's like you don't want people to get into an Artist's music. EXO are signed to AVEX, so we will have to live with these Short mvs. Kinda wish SM just signed EXO to EMI Japan (SNSD's label), at least they upload full versions of their Japanese mvs.

+Siow Yen Yes, I am aware of that. But I think that's a very outdated tactic, especially for a group like EXO (i.e. 1 Suho Fansite purchasing 10,000 copies of his LMR single). EXO don't promote in Japan, don't go on Japanese Music shows, where is the so-called "promo" by AVEX to push EXO into the Japanese market? Is this short mv. supposed to do the trick? is this it? Because non-fans aren't going to spend 30 bucks on a CD+DVD *JUST* to watch an MV. They will rip/pirate/watch an unofficial version of it somewhere online. Releasing a WHOLE Music video is great promo for EXO. SNSD's Japanese mvs are really fulled by EMI Japan and sometimes, are even uploaded on the official SMTown Channel. This is why I truly believe J-Pop was hindered from reaching it's full Worldwide potential. How did Gangnam Style become the most viewed video on KZfaq? Simple, YG released a Music Video to the *public*.

+Taose HunHan The thing you don't understand is that Avex have no care at all if EXO do not sell a single CD outside of Japan because Avex themselves are not actually selling the CD internationally. The most important thing business-wise, is that Avex sells and profits EXO's Japanese career WITHIN JAPAN. Avex has complete confidence in EXO (as well as other J-Pop groups/artists) of the dedication of their fanbase in Japan that they will spend $30 for the CD/DVD just to watch the MV. Yes. It's not about piracy policies etc or that Avex don't want people to listen to their artists, this is just Avex's business strategy. EXO may not appear on Japanese music shows (as of now, they may someday) but they are heavily in the Japanese market. You fail to understand otaku/hobbyist culture in Japan because Japan is probably the only country left in the world that actually has a mass market that physically buys every single variation of a CD/DVD/merchandise of their favourite niche. Streaming as a form of accessing media is just generally not the trend in Japan BECAUSE fans will buy the CD/DVD. Avex's only interest is that EXO's Japanese career make a lot of money in Japan.

Pim Pong Pae I do get that AVEX is only seeking success inside Japan. And I'm very aware of the Dying Digital market & Physical domination in the Japanese Music industry. (Fansite purchase was made IN Japan, so while they are a Korean fan-site based in Korea, trust and believe that they & many other Intl.Fans/Fan-sites intend to make sure what they buy counts on the Oricon charts.) I myself bought 12 copies the HARD way, having to find a group order which is not my cup of tea. I was just stating that THIS is what hinders J-Pop from hitting a global-scale, but then again, maybe J-Pop enjoys only staying inside their country's bubble. (The distribution of Anime is 10x better) It's a shame because they could be making a lot more money if they loosened the strings. *AND*, as I mentioned earlier, some Japanese record labels DO in fact upload full mvs like EMI Japan. So it's not 100% impossible for J-Pop artists to upload full mvs on KZfaq. That's literally all I'm asking, a full music video.

I bet SM asked AVEX not to give Lay any screen time. I think it is just so unfair. Just because he is not that popular in South Korea or he is not Korean, they treat him that way. This MV only FOCUS on Baekhyun, D.O and Sehun. What about the rest. More like EXTRAS. I am so mad about this. 😡

+Kx7pl 5 if you watch carefully, Chanyeol has more screen time than Chen and Kai. When it is Lay and Chen singing parts, they don't even appear in the MV. But mostly it is about DO, Sehun and the others. I pity Lay the most. It is true that the others get more screen time than Lay. But not a lot more.

I don't get the complaints about the lack of screen time tbh. Lay being "underexposed" is the funniest thing I've ever heard. He is busy in China promoting his own solo activities. He has his own birthday party, his own autobiography, his own studio managing his activities in China and countless opportunities that the other EXO members may never have and here I see people complaining about his lack of screen time in the short mv? The EXO members are not getting any of the profits that he earns but he earns from the group activities EXO are doing at the moment (like this current Japan debut for example). Some of you may say that the companies in China only wants Lay which is why he is running about doing promotions in China. Oh please, there were countless offers asking for Chanyeol and Sehun and most of them got turned down by SM. If anything these two are getting the short end of the stick. If Lay really wants to promote EXO through his activities in China he would introduce himself as EXO Lay instead of Zhang Yixing, but no, he never ever mentions EXO in his shows. TBH I don't see him fully committing to group activities in future. Lol dude always thanks his xingmis (his fanclub name) and the purple sea (his very own support colour) they create for him. Has he ever mentioned about the silver sea (not very updated on his stuff so do correct me if i'm wrong)? You guys thinking he's underexposed probably means that all the numerous solo activities he did couldn't create an impact big enough for you guys to remember. I don't even think he cares about the lack of screen time in this mv because he's laughing his way to the bank. FYI he is not THAT popular in Japan.

as i said do correct me if I'm wrong cos i'm not updated about his stuff and activities which you did correct but you didn't have to be rude about it lol? what i am saying by profits is when the exo members goes on variety shows/magazine shoots they do have to share their profits amongst the members (except for movies and dramas) so it's not really fair for the members if he goes around promoting his solo stuff in China and neglecting his group activities. Didn't he missed quite a few group performances and interviews if i'm not wrong. For concerts SM technically is bounded by a contract so they would have to compensate the organisers if one member is missing from the concert. He has no choice but to attend? if you really want to compare popularity in japan It's pretty obvious he is nowhere near the top (mid-range probably) judging by the albums sales. i admit that he is missing in this "short version" of the mv but i'm sick and tired of the pity party going on right now because he is getting so much more opportunities than some of the members and all you guys want to do is to nitpick on this one short version of an mv? I do think i'm butthurt because yea, my oppas could and should have a lot more chances given their popularity in China but noooo my oppas are in the dungeons!!!?11 TLDR: he is gonna leave sooner or later (his contract is not even fully under SM anymore) so i'm just wasting my time explaining all these LOL

I`m totally in love with the whole concept of MV! Arcade games of 90s make my heart flutter with nostalgia. ANd the visuals are more stunning in this version than in korean one, so bright and funny. Old school was always stylish and an inspiration for famous designers, I don`t get how someone can call this cheap (unless they`re kids of 2000s and too young to feel the style). Waiting for full version! It will come out in November, right? I hope it will be at least 4 minutes with more scenes of Lay :)
