So, for the MV for Tempo, Yixing (Lay) actually flew into South Korea to film for like a handful of days. Some fans thought he sent in footage of himself and was edited in, but you can see him physically on set in behind the scenes footage from filming the MV. He actually recorded lines for the Chinese version of Tempo, too, and you see him more in that version's MV singing those lines. He also filmed the album teasers for DMUMT. There was a teaser for each member, because each b-side song represented a different member's power. So, his power's song Smile On My Face is sampled in his member teaser, despite him not singing any lines in the song~~~ He did all this despite there being a possibly really big backlash to him in China for filming them~ Because this was the last full regular album EXO would get out before members started enlisting, and he wanted to give fans some ot9-content + prove he was still an EXO member~~~ (He has mentioned on a show he was mentoring on that he really wanted to do Love Shot; boy knew he would've slayed it^.^)

And you have Xiumin, Baekhyun and D.O. who are not even main dancers but could pass for main dancer in any other group… and all together they are just so strong as a unit… girl you need to see the holy trinity of dance Kai Lay Sehun water dance just epic! The best dance practice I've ever seen from Exo is Electric Kiss.🔥 It is incredibly difficult choreography. Lay does not sing on The Eve and Love Shot. But he sings on Love me Right and Tempo.

I'm really glad you're giving attention to Xiumin and Suho. They both are all rounder members who cab fill all positions. Xiumin especially can do vocals, raps, dance and fill all different bases. For me The Eve dance practice was had to have highlighted Sehun, Xiumin, Chen and Suho. You're right, D.O. and Chen are the most reserved members of the group. Cream Soda is the first time D.O. ever showed parts of chest cause before that D.O.'s wardrobe would always be consistently covered. Lets just say he turned more bold after going to military.
