It is such a beautiful and precious song. It was originally written and composed by Lay for exols. SM rejected this song when it was first presented by Lay. Then he composed it himself. He played it in his car and his manager listened to it. He asked him to add this song in the next Exo cb. He asked members. they liked it. Then their team convinced SM. Then chanyeol wrote his rap part. And chen translated this song in Korean. Lay wanted to promise the fans that he wont leave exo and as an apology as a chinese member bcz 3 members left within a span of 2 years. Exo has gone through hell over the years still rising to top in the most difficult time shows their talent. They were hated, solo stans left the fandom.I wish they had a short hiatus. They havent done concerts since 2019. It is a Big deal. Exo has so much potential for live shows. The most versatile group for songs or The concerts. Long hiatus affects fandom and fame so much. SM does not support its boygroups. They all had long hiatus or mistreatments. EXO was the most popular group of SM they could manage their services in 3/4 years. But no😑

So happy to see yall reacting to this!! There are actually 2 live versions and this one isn't actually the original music. The song and everything is the same but the music isn't. But this seems to be the one people react to the most, probably because it may have slightly more views or because it was before Lay kind of left since he's in this performance.

The song is very emotional I think this is the 1st concert after 3 members left suddenly and Lay produced the song and ask Chen for help on the korean singing lyrics and chanyeol write his own rap lines.. It's a promise for the fans that whatever happens they well stay as EXO... Soo due to political reasons Lay can't promote in Korea he never left EXO and even in small part he still tried to be part of the tittle songs.. This song made me cried always and the best fan song ever made...
