You can definitely tell in video it was an uncomfortable experience...love your videos always excited when I see a new 1 ..and also really glad your finally getting ur house together I know that's going to relieve alot of stress ..but hay if u do it right the first time you won't have to do it for 5 or more years before something needs maintenance...love ur hard work and dedication...your an inspiration

When I built the system in my truck, I did a sound test with the seats out, sitting on the floor. It was awesome. I put the seats back in and I was disappointed. Lol. I imagine the seats displaced some of the air inside the cab, but the vibrations in the floor did make a huge difference in intensity.

U just gave Me an idea Bro;U should make Your seats "Quick Release" That way at Shows,U can Quickly remove the Seats,Lay down a folded over Wool Blanket,Sit them down,And lettem have it! U can name it the "Full Experience" on Me,lol🤣🤣 And it would B totally unique to U! Maybe start sumthin new.It's just a thought.THUMP ON!!! ✌

So you are the very reason I got back into car audio as I was deep in 1994-95. I had so much to learn I had no idea what an Oscilloscope was lol! Through your videos it motivated me and it's been five years now. I told myself my two skar 18s on an Orion hcca 8k and I was DONE! LORD was I wrong. My goal is to meet you and give you a demo of my 2 Resilient Sounds Team 18s in a 6th on 2 Dsplx 17ks 😊. I was running 2 Orion Dsplx 3000.1s getting rms 15k from those insane 3k amps with triple inputs lol. So I have yet to see anyone do what I did to my interior. I have lowered the roof 9 inches and stepped the dash out closing in around 10inchs. This gave me 5db gain. I will just have to show you because I never seen anything like mine yet. One of the perks from working at a custom Cabinet shop 25yrs.. One more thing. Young man. Do Not ever loose who you are by negative post about your health family work no matter what. Your enthusiasm and personality is what I needed years ago to learn to have fun again at my age. It's your meal ticket 🎫.

The shop is looking great! The bottom 2×4's on the concrete should've been treated lumber to prevent rot from concrete moisture and protect from termites

First off amazing video. The Yukong, was amazing to see that truck again, I'm jeffs younger brother and funny story about that truck. Way back when he got it, probbally (4 years before it was this crazy) it was a Yukon with a factory bose audio system, and jeff said I don't think I'm gonna do anything with it. Wellllll as ya see that didmt happen First it was 8 12s that did 150.1 db and then it grew from there. Was one of Jeff's longest projects. And it was locally iconic. It was cool to watch him and his truck grow in recognition.

Great video. I'm especially impressed with the second guy's phone mount. That thing moved less than anything else in the car. I had my 4 year old water heater go a few years ago. The plumber told me to check the anode rod in 3 years and sure enough it was completely gone. Easy to replace and I'll pay that $20 every year if it keeps me from replacing it again

I've been into audio for years and now car audio thanks to EXO and the like and also I do is watch audio doc and vids and a British brand audio firm that sells his units for 8 grand plus on a "behind the scenes" documentary he said the trick is to a great sounding speaker is simple .. "you have to encorporate the resonance of the cabinet to get the desired output, and obviously use good quality components but yes the secret is box resonance because every box has resonance so use it." unless your going for pure spl then this makes total sense. happy bumpin!

I've been on a 163 build and it didn't hurt. Then got into a 155 and it took my breath away. The thing is that the 155 car was small and the bass was traveling in a small space.

I can’t wait till I’m officially in the competition game, I’m starting off small with with 2 deaf bonce 302s 12 inch rated for 2000 rms each, 8k SFB sundown amp powered by 2 limitless lithium 6ks and 380 amp Singer alt. Deck is Kenwood excelon, speakers audison Apk 165p at 345rms each and amp Millie hertz 4 250rms per channel. I’ve had a lot of trouble with the build and shop I’m working with cause they don’t want to work on BMW’s.

Not being a killjoy, but, hear me out, I did all this when a was younger, the setup I built was amazing, it blew away the competition, but still wasn't as loud as these in this video, close, but not that close, I loved the feeling of that bass! But.... now I'm really paying the price, I'm now half deaf, and have the most overwhelming screechingly loud tinnitus you could ever imagine! Seriously it's really really bad, it affects my daily life, gives me the worst stress headaches ever, honestly it's real bad! I completely understand the addiction to bass, I had it then, and still to this day love it, but I really feel these events should make it compulsory to wear ear protection when that bass gets turned up, yeh it's great fun at the time, but I'm really suffering now, yeh I know I know, I sound like a boring old boomer, but I wouldn't wish this unbearable tinnitus on any of you! Please protect you ears!

I never got any numbers on it, but I had a hatch back Celica. 2 12" 1200watt original 500x1 JL amp and a little shitty Xtant 10, with a Sony d class, don't remember how many watts . No fancy box or anything, just a pre built pos. This system was so much fun. Clean , loud, and could hit lows lows with out getting sloppy. My buddy would always have to open the sunroof, little did he know he was just turning the car into a bandpass box lol... Miss those days.. When I would get new stuff my go to song for testing was always "Rosa Park" then Ready to Die (album)... Nelly had a lot of really good bass songs too

Excellent video, ty for asking if I got the notification. With the garage. Building a lithium bank and a inverter would be useful. Even after you get power run the the building you'd have juice for when the lights go out. Yours could stay on. It's def nice to have. We've had a few outages already this yr. It's at that point the Ole lady is happy bout my battery habit

I'm surprised at 6:07 he has bare wire half-assed shoved into those fuse holders. With the amount of money he has in it I would've expected as least heat shrink and wire ferrules. Lug style fuse holders would be even better. You can see that wire is already turning color and looking a bit crunchy.

Got to say these systems are super loud and I have been doing car audio for about 17 years in my cars never anything this loud and now more of an sq system. But what I don't get all this money on amps, wiring, batteries, and subwoofers, and a lot of the wiring looks really bad copper showing no wire ferrules or heat shrink pretty basic stuff and makes a neater cleaner better connection, especially with the power they are pulling never understood why, still crazy loud systems much louder than I have ever built.
