Id imagine some sort of accessories system so you can get a dogtooth necklace for killing an eyeless dog, a bandolierr for killing like 3 nutcrackers, a spring wristband for surviving 10 coilheads, ect.

@@kataklysmic For coilheads I think I'd be better to have it be some accessory that randomly spawns on coilheads that you have to pick up off of it. (Surviving 10 coilheads seems too vague and easy to complete accidentally)

What you could do is buy a boombox to attract the monsters away from you, so you could get beehives even if its more late

They should let you carry monster bodies that you kill to the ship and like it sells when u leave a planet like a crewmate body because that would encourage risky shovel play styles

Another beehive strat is to grab the hive and enter into a nearby enterance or fire exit, wait for a bit, then go back out. This causes the bees to roam the map, but if they begin chasing you, you can just lead them back to your ship and they'll stick to the hive.

as long as it's solo, ive had teammates drop hives in the ship and shut the door and the bees turn into a roaming killswarm

TZP is 3 or maybe even 4 guaranteed stress-free beehive grabs in one bottle. TZP costs 120 by default, which 2 beehives can already pay for, but if you get TZP on any kind of sale then you automatically have a huge payout

The longer you stuff it, the more speed boost AND stamina efficiency you get. There is 21ish seconds in one bottle, and inhaling for 11ish seconds will max out your boost, however 5-7ish seconds is a perfectly useable buff for most things, including bees. So essentially you get 2 max speed/stamina boosts or 3 good speed/stamina boosts per bottle that you can use to just outrun most things, even bees, with the tradeoff being that you're fairly blind while doing it. I would only buy it while it's on sale and use it as a stress free bee grabber, since there's not too many other reasons you'd need to move that fast for that long. @@CAPTAiNC

I’ve Bee-n calling quicksand “mud” lately, bee-cause it happens more in rain, the terrain bee-comes more smooth like mud, it makes a goopy noise, and callouts to your team will bee shorter.

I lovvee meeting quota with nothing but beehives- it's such a fun little challenge! It never gets boring or old 😂 I just got 4 hives on assurance- I didn't even know they spawned there haha

i've been thinking about this and I think the best thing they can do for solo balancing is have a drone that can do 2 things, it can be controlled remotely to lure things with sound and to show a part of the map, i.e you'd control it from 1st or 3rd person then you'd be able to scan or watch it from top down on the monitor, it woudn't collect for you but would let you plan a route to loot you find and around threats you see, the trade off being that this takes some time while you're still at the ship and you could have to buy it, it's second function could be automatically collecting your body so failing solo is less harsh after you unlock it

I hope they add items you can find in the facility that help besides the yield sign and shotgun, stuff like different outfits like an actual beekeeper outfit to protect against bees would be very cool.

so march has about 35% beehive spawn rate but if it is eclipsed that is a HUGE bonus because there will be so many bees

I've been having weird "bugs" with the bees. There are alot of cases where I start the game, and im instantly swarmed by hive-less bees. They either leave their hive and just attack me, or the game forgets to spawn in the actual hive and the bees just go with their next phase: attack mode. Secondly, alot of the time, when I DO manage to get a hive in, once I bring them into the ship, they DESPAWN. Idk why

ngl Fire Exits are almost always easier than Main, especially with cheese shortcuts. There's definitely moons with way harder fire exits but more likely than not, they're shorter
