Healthy and happy skin does not mean "flawless" - whatever that might be. I have been struggling with acne, hyperpigmentation and postinflammatory erythema (PIH and PIE) for most of my adult life, and it took me a while to figure out that gentle is key. I went through a retinol damaged skin barrier, acne flare ups and sun damage until I finally reached my happy place: With Tretinoin, sunscreen and of course a red lipstick!

For better or worse, „synthetic exosomes“, whatever this really is, are now making rounds on the EU Eastern European injectable „booster“ market. Not topical, but indeed injectable options. Apparently this is legal. These are lab-made and not derived from humans, but one can only wonder how exactly these are created and what side effects they might have. But this is currently a big hit among aesthetics doctors, along with nanofat. Can you extract exosomes from blood/plasma? This would be a safer way to get autologous exosomes and growth factors. I would be very wary of anything that has an air of uncertainty regarding its sourcing.

I am not an expert on exosome extraction, but I assume yes, you could do that. But it is probably too complicted and costly to do it for the individual treatment. With PRP it is quite easy to separate the plasma and fibrin, which is why you get your own stuff there.

Thanks for your reply! 🌷 P.s. Those injectable exosomes I‘ve seen are Korean (ASCE). Human-derived. I wonder how they are able to sell it in the EU 🤔 For example, Renuva (a fat-stimulating injection) is not going to be available in continental Europe. Thanks again for your input on the topic!
