Exotic 8-Course Banarasi NON-VEG Feast at SAIR SAPATA | A Daawat tradition over Food in Varanasi

I was invited to the most amazing 8 course Banarasi Muslim Non-vegetarian cuisine feast at the daawat of sair sapata, a very unique 200 year old tradition of get together over food.
Banarasi non veg food is heavily inspired by the Lucknow food and Bihari Food, that's the reason Bihari Kabab, Qorma or a Matar pulao is so popular at the dastarkhwan of Varanasi. The khansamas or the bawarchis prepared a lavish feast of 8 most intricate dishes at a garden or baag at Choukaghat.
The menu has the Banarasi Champaran style chicken korma, Biryai like matar pulao, Bihari kabab, chicken fry, fish fry, khamiri roti and kheer, that also gave subtle hints of its recipes.
All the guests were from generations of Banarasi saree making tradition families and this sair sapata tradition is very common. Where all the guests gather over food, mostly on sundays.
This has to be the best food I have tasted in Varanasi.

I didn't realize it while shooting the series, in fact I was really scared to touch such cultural topics being a food vlogger. But people have really loved and appreciated the content of Banaras. The best example of a culinary narrative ever. It is critical to support such vloggers so as to preserve the authentic way of living in India, food of course is a part of it. Such get togethers are ceasing to exist, it is a must that we should do something about keeping them alive so that the next generation does more than indulging into Pubg and likewise fanatic past time that are contemporary now. I just wanted to say: As a born-n-bred Kaashivasi, this series felt like I was taking a vilaayati cousin of mine across this journey of Banaras. Wo powerlooms, wo sariya, sakri galiya, Seeing you walk the same ghats, drink the same nimbu ki chai, eat the same chat, aur khaaskar aaj ka be-aab gosht, all things me and countless other Banarasi people experience everyday--it was...IDK how to put it to words. Maybe I shouldn't try to put that feeling into words, maybe doing that will discount it. So I'll just feel it on the inside. Thank you for making me feel that feeling. Kaabhi doobara waapasi ho aapki Banaras side to hame bhi mehmaan nawazi ka mauka dijiyega. Mirzapur mein hamare gaav pe aapko seasonal sabziyo, khud ke talab ki machli, aur baati-gosht ki dawat denge. Ek aur cheez ye jo bawarchi the iss video mein unka contact mil sakta hai kya? Kafi sahi laga hame inke pakwaan banane ka tareeka. Hame bhi kambi mauka para to inse khana banwayenge.
