Thank you for the video. I love fried insects too. It test was so good. The recommendation for everyone who visits the Thai temple is to look carefully on the painting of the wall. They all have the story and you will never get bored when visits them. Have fun!😊

Salted egg cake is literally made of salted yoke, an egg preserved in brine. Salted egg is originally found in savory dishes. Salted egg cake is a western pastry take that could have inspiration from kanom pea-a (ขนมเปี๊ยะ), sweets that had sweeten soy filling with whole salted york in the center.

7:20 it is "Khanom Pia Lava" (ขนมเปี๊ยะลาวา aka Lava Chinese pastry). normally the traditional Chinese pastry has hard flour with salty egg yolk inside it so children dont like it much (me too hehe). i cant remember who create this new chinese pastry receipe but only a few month it becomes popular all over Thailand because of soft texture outside and salty milky filled inside that so delicious. (fyi: outside made from cake flour and filled inside made from salty red egg yolk+milk+corn starch)

Hi guys! The color of purple pancake is actually made from riceberry flour which has purple color, not a purple yam spread. And you' re right it's made from tons of sugar! Glad you like it. At 7.41 mins. That cake is Chinese pastry moon cake or ขนมเปี๊ยะ it’s basically a Chinese traditional recipe. They usually have redbean, sweet soybean filling traditionally but for the one u eat is a new filly in these generation. Salted egg flavor are popular among younger ppl these days. So they created this one, salted egg powder mixed with their custard cream recipe I believe ☺️☺️

How come! you don’t like the grilled jelly fish. It is one of a kind and rare food. I used to eat and did’t like it at the first bite, but after sometime I tried it again, getting to familiar with it. I finally love it. 😂

The yellow egg cake that you ate in Thailand We call it Ka Nom Piah. The original one is from China and Thai people is improvement for Thai's taste. It's make from salted egg, sugar, bean, flour. And I like your video so much Have a nice days.

Hi! For me I love fried insects I think you love it too, and I don't like raw dough from egg lava cake, it's hard to swallow. And Padthai you ate is so yummy. I once visited this market many years ago and hope to come again.

7:20 I think it's the "Khanom Pia" (ขนมเปี๊ยะ), hard flour with something inside (most popular is salty egg yolk). It's not favorite for me, I just eat the inside and throw the hard flour 🤣 (don't follow me for waste food)😅
