Hey blitz and Barron. Info load. The zombie is most likely coming from the mine down below. The way to check is to be in the green and red mode to see if there are any red spaces in the mines. If there are. That’s where they’re coming from. Any red spots are where zombies can spawn. As for the bed question blitz had. You could completely fill an area with beds. The only thing would be aesthetic. The new food mechanic is hard to balance but since you don’t have to worry about happiness the only thing you have to worry about is keeping a stockpile of food on hand and a steady flow of food. I love that there is a series on this game now! Thank you both!

Your Berry farm uses 45% of your inner walls so you should make the Berry farm double deckered so you have more food and the zombies are coming from inside the cave underground

Actually downloaded this game because of you, having happiness on makes the struggle multiple times harder. Mess with the quantity slides for food production to match consumption under the happiness bar, you can increase food intake of foods you have more of and decrease others so you don’t run out till production increases

I would suggest building more workbenches, anvils, grinders, etc. and increasing the limits of all of your items but also changing up the priorities based on the block. Like make ammo a +++ priority. make more food jobs and make more jobs for grinders, ovens etc. that cook/make food. Making splitting stumps would be handy too cause the splitting stumps specialized in firewood, planks, and charcoal. Fishmeal seems to be simply a byproduct of cooking fish in the stove, so you might want to make cabbage farms to take advantage of the excess fishmeal. Also the zombies are probably spawning in the caves cause your zone extends underground as well, it doesn't exist just on the surface. So if you make a cave connected to your colony underground that extends out past your zone, zombies will spawn in the caves. Don't forget to try and make beds as close as you can to their respective jobs to decrease walking time and increase efficiency.

Hire matchlock gun guards on the hedge of the maze

you might wanna make a 2-floored maze, so that the zombies are more vulnerable to arrows and rocks, and will take longer times to reach to the entrance, thus, giving you more time to prepare.

If a zombie hits your flag it kills one colonist it won't kill you right away

Put some shooters in front of the maze or upon the maze houses and go even underground but be careful Zombies might come because underground tunnels are outside the city

this looks like a tower defense minecraft game

The zombies are spawning in the mine shaft because somewhere you may have accidentally went beyond your banner safe radius underground and the simple way to fix that is to assign a few guards to keep watch of the colonists sleeping underground.

Put a little floating tower on top the middle of the maze and then put some archer there so the zombies get shot in the middle and then a floating brigde to get to the tower the bridge starts is from the wall

the best wheat farm is 10x10 because the max wheat farm is 100

You should build a tower where the the flag is and move the flag to the top and have like heavy duty guards guard it. And the tower should be very very tall.

what you made is neither a maze nor a labyrinth. a labyrinth only has one entry/exit which connected to the center by a single path with no branching. you guys have two entries/exits which are connected to each other by a single path which just happens to go through the center. its not a maze either because there is only one path. what you made is actually more of a corridor
