True and the way the shih tzu make the mistake is funny like when they get so excited that they have treats they didn't listen to u just focus on treats

@@godspeed_Zero LOL I’m dealing with that right now, trying to train my babies. One is very obedient and attentive. The other has sooooo much energy and is so easily distracted - she’s so excitable bu EVERYTHING! So trying to train her is like trying to tame a whirlwind!

@@Thi-Nguyen my shih tzu it's like ur second one she's sometimes so hyper I dunno how. She only know how to sit high-five and shaking our hands other than that it's so difficult not because she's so energetic it cus she's pretty much get distracted by treats and without treats she just acts like she's too sleepy to do any tricks and I hope ur puppy calms down cus teach a puppy new tricks like training a child it's really difficult but u want to do it (cute bean puppies)

@@godspeed_Zero I’ve had a good deal of luck teaching her tricks and obedience if I wear her out first. We go run around the yard or play tug-of-war with her rope toys first. Then when she’s worn out a bit, she listens better. So far she knows ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, ‘sit-pretty’, ‘come’, ‘stay’ and ‘leave it’. ‘Sit pretty’ is basically sitting up on their hind legs. We will start leash training next week or so, and after that, we’ll work on some tricks (fun and cute ones). With her, I really just gotta work on consistency and reinforcement. But she’s learning... slowly but surely. Lol

@@Thi-Nguyen update on my shih tzu shes almost 3 years old and gotten very energetic somehow and play fights with me a lot and i gotta say her bits hurts more than my bigger puppys bite one time i gave her chicken and she got the chicken and also caught my finger and her teeth glazed through my finger and again hurts more than my big pups biting me but she only playfight if shes very energetic and sometimes get a lot of energy out by doing night time zoomies

They are very adorable dog breed. Very affectionate, little egoistic but very loveable. They do shed a lot at times, daily brushing is required to keep your home hair-free. If you are looking for toy breed, especially for apartments you won’t go wrong with Shih Tzus.

Try buying books on training your Shih Tzu. They’re not the easiest pups to train so you need to LEARN how to train them.
