Loading & securing your freight properly is very important. In this video we will show you how we load & secure freight. Which includes.. how to use straps & load bars also how the doors & jack stands work on a straight truck.

You guys had a great attention to detail in this video! I know it is common sense to old timers but the instruction on the long and short end of e-track straps where it attaches was the stuff that newbys are scared to ask for fear of being made fun of. Great Video!

Nice video. I have been loading trailers and box trucks for the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Most of the cargo I load is on wheels, so securing the load is much more critical.

Thank you guys for sharing your life on the road. I am heading to Ohio Sunday for my Panther orientation on Monday. I tried to do my research when looking for an expediting company to go with and your videos have been a great resource. I'm actually going to be in a cargo van which I know is very different since I'm coming off a semi. I'm looking forward to my new adventure and your videos have really good information and their entertaining. Keep up the good work and thank you again.

Great video ! Since I rarely ever transport pallets I was curious about securing them in box trucks . I just recently did a load that was a shrink wrap pallet of 1000 lbs of material. The shrink wrap was good and because of the weight I figured it wouldn’t slide around so I didn’t strap it . The pallet didn’t move at all but I can see were some pallet loads may slide around . I have a small 10 ft box van so you can only put 2 pallets in it at a time . I don’t have e straps just rails for furniture moving . Back when I drove an 18 wheeler I did utilize load bars but just to separate furniture loads not on pallets . Very informative video thanks!

+TheCraftyTrucker It is a used truck with a 120" ARI sleeper. Just approved for the loan today. Didn't want the big overhead starting out. Looking to get started the first week of April.

Awesome video ! Looking to start soon, I’m assuming I don’t need my own pallet jack ? I’ve seen some box trucks with them and some without.

Most likely won’t need your own, unless truck has liftgate. Dock deliveries will usually always have pallet jacks

Forklift in a dry box? I would suggest using blocks nailed into the floor in front and behind the wheels. Then using multiple straps pulling forward and backwards. Multiple load bars would be good too. Also making sure the emergency break is pulled on the forklift.
