This place was 10 minutes from my childhood home and I spent A LOT of time there. So many school field trips and summer days at Aquarena. My senior prom was in the restaurant here. We didn't know what a treasure we had. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

My wife and I would stop here in 1987 while we were stationed at Ft Hood..My high school friend was stationed in Lackland AFB San Antonio and we would go down and see him and stop here on the way back

I don't understand why they had to tear down most of the original architecture such as the entrance and gift shop.

Wish it was ALL still there! Would have loved to have seen it all!
