Easy way to remember stalactite versus stalagmite. Stalactite has a "c" in it and grows from the ceiling. Stalagmite as a "g" in it and grows from the ground. Good stuff, y'all. Loving the Overlander series.

Way far and above typical Hollywood politics driven production the public sees much of the time. It is great seeing a young boy getting mentored by so many patient men. Men who have great skills and knowledge of the outdoors. Washington State is so beautiful, the photography on the ground as well as above makes it breath taking for the viewers. Team Never Quit!

Hey Clay Croft and the Expedition Overland crew there was a question about stalactites and stalagmites. When I was a kid exploring the Ozark caves I learned to cool way to remember which was which. Stalactites hold "tight" to the ceiling. Stalagmites "might" reach the ceiling. You know, for the next time you go spelunking ;)

That is pretty awesome! My Dad lives literally at the beginning of the Arizona BDR. I am planning to do it in my jeep and then in two years my brother and I are going to do it on motorcycles, heading up to overland expo west in Flagstaff, in preparation for doing the TAT. I live about near Tombstone, Az, which is a out 25 miles from the AZBDR, and there are hundreds of miles of trails in this area. This year we met up and camped at the expo. I drove my jeep, and my brother rode his motorcycle from Kansas. We were able to talk with Jeff for a few minutes which was cool. Can't wait to see the upcoming vids!

Thanks guys for another great video and a place to hit as I exit my Alaska / Canada part of my trip and return to the lower 48. Looks like I'll be traveling the BDR trail around the last week of August or first week of September. I'll probably also add a stop to the St. Anthony dunes after that. Then I'm not sure where I'll stop as a head back east returning to Maryland sometime in late September.
