JD had a minor daughter at the time so I understand him not wanting to move to LA. But, even with that, there should have been room to compromise. Janet never speaks about this relationship, which is odd because they seem to be on good terms. When they were together, she always answered the marriage question with "whatever HE wants." Now we know he didn't want it and I think it's a combination of a lack of maturity and not wanting to be in Janet's shadow as Mr. Jackson. I don't blame him. That's a lot to ask when you're very successful in your own right. But, Janet would have compromised FOR HER HUSBAND. What I got from this: JD messed up. Janet moved to a different continent for this last man. It wasn't Atlanta, JD. Tip, get Janet on your show.

@@nicoleraheem1195 Honestly, I don't know if working on himself beforehand would help. Jermaine is one of the biggest producers to ever do it with major/groundbreaking industry accomplishments and he is still known as Janet Jackson's boyfriend. That's a lot. @tripleceven
@tripleceven 4 жыл бұрын
@Ranetta Maxwell none of it is ok. Objectification of women is not ok even when it puts food on the table or provides entertainment. Remember drug dealers put food on the table too while taking life with another. Gladiators killed and maimed each other for ent. Equating a rapper's success due to a strip club is undermining their talent because they were not discovered, signed or recorded in one. All i am saying is you cant criticise TI for being superficial while applauding Tip Drill and stripping with another because both arent a good representation of a society, which a city cant be based on or put a city on a map. Like I said before JD was asking why people have the impression of ATL that they do yet he is a strip club connoisseur, the double standards.

I have a friend who worked in the music business when JD and Janet were together. He'd hang out with them in Atlanta at JD's house. He said of all the celebs he hung around Janet was consistently the same person. She was quiet, nice and always respectful. He said JD was cool, but ghetto as hell. My friend laughed saying he couldn't figure out for the life of him what Janet and JD had in common. Janet was refined and JD was rough around the edges, but for some reason it worked. I think they might've ended up married if each of them had been more willing to be a little more flexible. Hopefully they're still friendly after all these years.

Most women live life charismatically by who make them feel a certain way moment to moment. So if she not really happy with herself she'll seek out constant validation from different men. Look at it this way you never here of Beyonce downplaying her relationship with Jay. Beyonce is satisfied with who she is and her status in life. So once a woman has a better understanding of womanhood not based on society standards. She'll know exactly were she wannna be..

A man findeth a wife......Where does a MAN seek validation? The streets? Clubs? Strip clubs? His boys? As we see here, everybody ain't able (willing) to step up. Janet loved the ground that man walked on and let it be known.

@@andriah8126 Men frequent clubs because women are there making themselves available to men. Women could sell any kind of product anywhere some have chosen the easy way out like Slut Walk, twerking ,and getting money from multiple men. Regardless we need each other and men do have faults no doubt. There are alot of men in relationships with women helping raise another man offspring. Men do need to focus more on self-preservation and quit doing frivolous things for women who in most cases don't appreciate anything.. Very seldom I encounter married men who are happy.

Nope. He was clear on the story then started stuttering when he answered this question. Janet did an interview where she said JD was the love of her life but he messed up.
