The apartheid government dumped Black South Africans in townships(which back then were urban squalid living areas far from any work or public transport), after stealing their land in many parts of South Africa and they thought they’ll perish…look at my people thriving. Love to see this, ppl developed their own kasis and they look beautiful. Great content, keep it up 🇿🇦💕

Thandi ..you too young I think..to KNOW the whole truth and HISTORY ! I grew up in that 'suburb' - DIEPKLOOF EXT ( EXPENSIVE) - It was actually built by the Apartheid gov in some 5 yrs flat. What has the ANC gov built in 30 years - diepsloot , Cosmo city and rdp houses ? sOMETIMES life is NOT what it actually looks like

@@thiboznjabu64 apartheid government didn’t build any houses for Black SAns…township hostels weren’t houses. They were dumping grounds to house cheap labour for white population but made sure to keep them far away from white areas. White apartheid government did build houses for white SAns though…literally carried them on its back for nearly a century. What you see on this video is hard labour of Black SAns, despite the white apartheid government trying to destroy their lives and family structures with creation of townships

These kind of areas were NOT built by the apartheid government. The only thing the government of the time did was to nullify some of its draconian laws and allow the black middle class to purchase land and build their dream homes.....such neighborhoods were build by hard-working folks who aspired for better living .What the ANC did for blacks is to dream beyond Diepkloof. We now have access to equestrian and Golf estates which are the' new premiums'
