When I was young and would go with my grandpa to get a shine I remember a type of tissue papper he would put between my shoe and sock to prevent wetness from cleaning and polish swap. These videos are so soothing to see and the shoes never disappoint

My best guess is that it’s his way of getting into and scraping the debris from the welt of the shoe. It’s not a typical approach (many people will simply use a dry brushing and toothbrush with soap to clean it), but one I can see the logic behind! I think the main benefit is the sound though.

Yo en 20 min boleo mis botas militares ... Y vuando las traigo puestas como es rapida la boleada duro 10 minutos... Pero rapido boleo y al ultimo le briseo agua y con un trapo delagado y liso froto mis botas sin usar el sepillo y quedan bien charoleadas
