We begin by tearing up the salt flats in Utah with our little Ford Focus. After that we drove all through the night to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. We slept in a library parking lot for a couple hours and then hit the trails. Then we made our way down to Great Sands Dunes National Park west of Colorado Springs. That was a pretty brutal trek I can’t even lie. Finally, we ended the trip by getting stopped outside of the Pikes Peak toll road and just ate peanut butter sandwiches on the back of our car. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trip.
