Dude that is way off. I love Chris Ayres Frieza as much as the next person but Frieza has ALWAYS been famous and iconic. Maybe you read some random fan post saying otherwise but as someone who has been in the fandom since Z was airing on Cartoon Network, people have always loved Frieza as a villain. Hell Im sure youll still find some people who prefer Linda Young to Chris Ayres. I personally prefer Chris, but Linda didnt make Frieza a "joke" or anything of the sort.

The whole theater sang Head Cha la when the remix kicked in. It sounded pretty good too.

My two favorite moments were the God transformation for Vegeta and the tease of UI for Goku. Crowd in my theater was so loud for those.

When Gogeta did the Soul Punisher/Stardust Breaker my theater lost it lmao

We were all damn near standing up during the fight in the theater

To be fair I don't think that was because of a massive power difference between them but just straight up skill, plus broly was completely going feral. I imagine he'd still lose even if he was calm and had the same amount of strength he showed against gogeta blue but he'd definitely have put up a better fight at the end

@@DeathKnells I doubt it. Gogeta was going toe to toe with Broly in SSJ1. He still had SSJ2, 3 and God which he justs kipped because he was done playing around. There's not a single possible way that Broly was any stronger than let's say SSJ3 Gogeta at the most.

Duh I know how his power works I was saying that the gap in raw power is not that big between them and that Gogetas combat skill was the real factor in that part of the fight and 3. I highly doubt that since Broly had also gone into his Legendary form (no canon confirmed name for it)

We don't know the power multiplier for the legendary form but its clearly not just a ssj2 or ssj3 power up and he went that in the last fight against gogeta blue

Ironically, Frieza didn't learn his lesson from last time pulling that stunt and got his ass beat again. In hindsight, that was not a smart move on his part.

This is just not true at all. Goku has accepted that he's a saiyan since the frieza saga. Him telling broly to call him kakarot is because vegeta does and it might be a reference to how broly originally always screamed "kakarot!"

Gohan explained that to harness the power of his beast form he has to access his deepest rage and just before the blind rage fully takes over him, he would snap back and use the power stored in him. Broly learned from Gohan and now he can maintain SSJ without going berserk. Beast Gohan was also able to tap Goku in his MUI and literally punched Goku so hard he lost UI for a bit. Vegita wanted to try Beast Gohan too against his UE, then Trunks and Goten got involved. It just turned out to be a huge Saiyan free for all fight. A fun family brawl at Beerus's planet.

Just a couple things: - Super Saiyan has nothing to do with the Oozaru form, in fact, in this very movie, Broly's "rage" form (base hair, green aura, yellow pupils) is actually exactly that, him getting into Oozaru form without actually transforming. This was also so Toriyama could rework GT's Super Saiyan 4 in the future (since SSJ4 is accomplished controlling the Oozaru power, as per GT lore). - Later stages of Super Saiyan don't necesseraly mean more stamina drain. That's just SSJ3, SSJ2 doesn't drain more stamina than SSJ.

No, Super Saiyan is not that. Brolys Rage form is tapping into the Oozaru. Super Saiyan is completely separate.
