would you say it is safe to use for games with a full golf swing or just for minigolf?

Any plans to make an adjustable elbow piece to change the angle of the controller relative to the handle so this can also be used for beat saber and/or gorilla tag?

Mine just came in, and this makes golf + much more enjoyable game. Also, golf + has a built in setting for this attachment in the options.

Your VR golf attachment couldn't come soon enough. Lots of golf attachments in Amazon selling for Quest 3, but the same exact orientation as the Quest 2 which just doesn't work with occlusion as the issue, yet they still advertising it for Quest 3 controllers. I wonder if they have even tested their products. I've ordered your gunstock before. I've ordered your club adapter just now! Can't wait!

Awesome, thank you!! Yea, I saw other KZfaqrs mentioned that the quest 3 fit the Quest 2 cups for golf but the orientation makes the tracking unusable! So, not sure if they test theirs tbh

@@Armis71 the adapter itself is 275g and the q3 controller is 133g, so about 408g total. Do you need it to be at a specific weight?

Hi! Unfortunately no plans on releasing new designs due to the influx of unauthorized sellers selling my designs without permission and damaging my brand image due to poor quality prints... The Quest 2 is the only one available

@@SanlakiPlaysVRBummer that thieves had to ruin it for the rest of us. Really dug printing some of your designs. Might have to dig into my auto desk and give it a try to do one myself. I have remixed a few of your parts on the gun stock and posted them on thingiverse. Anyway thanks for the reply.

Hi! I use PLA and PLA+, for the length, I'll have to measure when I get back to my home studio. I believe the pipe itself is about 28mm

Hi! Yes, it'll be better to get the correct controller because of the buttons. You can technically use the right controller if your left handed though

Ooookay, this is getting out of hand. I bought your PSVR2 golf adapter three months ago, even though the shipping was AUD$50. I love it, by the way. I recently got a Meta Quest 3 and was keen to pick up this Quest 3 variant but now the shipping is AUD$108! What happened in the last three months?

Hi! Yes, there is a left handed version for the Quest 3. So you put in your left controller on the adapter

Hi! Controller attachment and protection is one of my top focuses! So, I made it with thumbscrew and nut to ensure the controller is tightly secured. Make sure to thread it properly and your controller should be very secured

@@SanlakiPlaysVR I just got my attachment a few hours ago. I’ll never play without one again. Thing doesn’t feel cheap AT ALL and it makes your wedge and iron game SIGNIFICANTLY better. What a fantastic product you’ve made‼️ I couldn’t be happier‼️

I haven't tested Golf+ yet since my main focus mini golf. However, I don't see why it shouldn't work since the Q2 and Qpro version works on that game! The Sanlaki preset is only available for Quest 2 though, so you need to manually calibrate

@@FM-us3rdgot mine in today, weight feels good, played a quick 9 on Pro and it felt great! Had to adjist the custom club a few times to get it just right but it feels awesome now.

Make this adjustable in length and add more weight (adjustable weight) at the end of the club and you have a winner for Golf +. It's too short as it is and probably too light.

Thanks for the feedback! What is the ideal weight for you? Currently, it weighs 405g with the controller attached. I'm also currently looking into adding adjustable weight and length extension :) The reason I didn't make it too long is because I personally have a small play space, and was worried about hitting something and damaging things when playing

@@SanlakiPlaysVR I would look at the DeadEye VR DriVR Pro 3 as a guide for a good design for a VR golf club specially for Golf + VR. I believe the average weight of a real golf club is around 330 grams. But the weight distribution is also important. Since you can't really have a real life golf club length for VR golf (safety reasons), you need the weight to be slightly heavier to compensate for the longer moment arm on a real golf club. And the weight should be mostly at the end of the virtual club. I would love to give you my inputs if you're interested. I am a mechanical designer on my day job and I also play golf in real life. We use multiple 3D printers at work (FDM, MJF, SLA) so I am also very familiar with pretty much all types of 3D printing tech.
