Love your content, man, but like you've gotta recognize at this point that it's actually TOO loud. The Tomei, while sounding really good, was pretty much too loud even before the extra pipe bits. The extra bits definitely give it a nice tone, but it's just too much with that catback now. You're going to get pulled over like crazy, or worse get hearing damage. ☹️ Take care of yourself man.

Inside the car it’s actually really tame even full throttle. This is definitely a little too loud even for me, the turbo will quiet it down though.

I had a tomei with a catted downpipe on my widebody hatch and I miss it every day. I'd love to throw one on my brz but I just moved and don't want to do that to my neighbors.

the reverse cam can stay on for a few seconds when you put it in 1st. its in the radio settings.

How was the car with just the tomei catback? I imagine the cold starts still would've been unbelievable. But i'm trying to decide between the tomei or the Invidia N1. Cheers!

Was amazing to be honest. Cold starts were loud but by itself I’d highly recommend it.

So the real question is do you miss your ST? I actually had an ST at the same time you did I got rid of it for a type r and then I figured I'd get myself a RS but I didn't like that at all it drove horribly wasnt comfortable horrible gas mileage nd ridiculous car Insurance. Was 320 for Insurance nd type r is 120 lol a month so i traded it right back I got another type r lol a 21 boost blue.. very mad at myself for doing such a dumb thing I knew I should of just kept the first type r lol was a 19 blue... I def love ur content

Thanks man! Definitely understand that, and no I would make the same decision 1000 times over selling the ST for the BRZ. So much good has come from it and it’s more my type of car than the ST was.

Nah the new brz/gr86 makes 220whp almost as much as its advertised if not its advertised power depending on your altitude and weather

I’ve dyno’ed my car in the last shop I was at, on a dynojet, and it made 200whp which is still more than advertised but, I think other people who have gotten those numbers might have been on a high reading dyno.

I cringe when I hear this car. Its loud for no good reason. If your car sounds like that it needs to be making 800HP. Its all talk with no walk.

We’re prepping for a turbo kit, needs that flow.

@@BenLovrien Not really. 90% of every car sold has a turbo these days. None of them sound like a WW2 fighter plane. And plenty of them make as much or more power than a BRZ with a turbo. Its a pet peeve of mine when people (young people) think that to make power you must be heard 2 counties over. But hey, personal preference. Im convinced you dont even like the car the way it is and its just for the sake of content at this point.

Eh, I want it on the car, so I put it on the car. Just doing what I want🤷🏻‍♂️😂 I’ve never had a car this loud and I wanted to see what it’s like, now I know. Turbo will help it quiet down a bit though too because it’ll be moving a lot more air👍🏻
