taking my own crack at seeing what i can manage to find in the supposed beta map, while recording all of it. i intend to maintain a singular focus on one aspect for the most part per-video, with some slight detouring every now and then to ensure nothing else is occurring in other areas on the map. chapters will be added / adjusted per video documenting any specific happenings. this experiment focuses on the darkrooms' interaction with npcs being left either within the dark room alongside other npcs or with the player present. led to some interesting occurrences. this experiment took place with the map being in tier 4 - may return at later date in lesser tiers to see if different events occur. all footage is unedited; this is strictly an upload of the raw recorded video within a legal copy of gmod. i have no paranormal addons installed and am on single-player.

@@Kallichore09 not exactly the map has been discovered to have console commands specifically tailored to it the tier command being "gm13_tier [1-4]" higher tiers means more extreme events occurring within the map, however some are more common and some less depending on the current chosen tier of the map for example, this being my first time using tier 4, i had never seen the fire trap occur while in tier 1 however the grigori apparition and zombie apparition never appeared however in tier 1 those two were rather common, while the fire trap never happened (at least to me) each tier is unique in it's event rarity and occurrences, 4 being most intense and hostile (that we have access to) and tier 1 keeping that hostility but to a semi-less direct extent from what i've observed

Probably or keep them from trying to heal npcs that are burning, dying, or whatever the dark room will do

I'll note that the 'entity' is more apt to affect NPCs if they have moved or are moving. For most NPCs, you can just nudge into them to get them to back off and others you might have to provide a reason for them to move or use an addon that can make them move.

what i've done in my freetime is walking with a group of rebels behind me in the underground tunnels, seeing what will happen. if i have 2 groups of 4, or 8 rebels, then usually about 2 or 1 will survive, with one of them just disappearing into nothingness.

I go ghost hunting in this map,it’s pretty fun when I’m alone,and scary,I quit when I feel uneasy,but i feel more comfortable with background npcs on,but with those on,nothing really happens.

So I’ve taken note of something myself; if you use the Modern Warfare NVGs mod to try and get a good look around the dark room (the entrance, the dark room itself, and the area above the entrance), your NVGs will break at random. Your character takes no damage but you have to discard your NVGs. I thought this was pretty interesting.

thing i want to point out: if you attempt to explore the tunnel or the dark room with drones addon theres some things that can happen : the drone will fall and stop working: it will catch on fire and possibly explode? and a other thing is that it teleports the drone out of the area and teleports you in the place the drone was instead edit: i dunno if it also happens with mini cars or dupes that can be controlled with the keypad

I've been freezing the strange NPCs of this map and putting them in a cage then unfreezing them, so far I've caught a dark room citizen, a dark room grigori, a pool room stalker and a dark kleiner btw nice v1 skin

22:32 okay this is violent but when the npc Burns to death only 2 npcs looked, the citizen look at the npc burning like "HOLY $%@#" and the npc with the gun looked away like he doesn't care, my mind was blown.

when i played this map i placed ALOT of cameras on the surface level and buildings ond kleiner DID NOT STAND A CHANCE AGAINGST MY PAP RAYGUN also I tried placing mattress on where sudoku girl lands when she commits sudoku and I got spooked by grigori and trolled by ghost barnacle and dem statues look like half-life 1 gordon

fun fact, the statues are actually the playermodel for half life 2 campaign gordon, as you werent supposed to see yourself anyway, they just used a placeholder. (and yes it is just half life 1 gordon with no textures)

I think Gregori lasted so long because he’s one of the anomalies in the dark room, so the game recognized that it’s not supposed to kill an anomaly unless an accident happens. And he was spawned next to a corner, where he usually appears.

I went out and tested the Dark Room, so first when I got this map, I placed NPCs in the Dark room. I left the dark room and came back few minutes later just to see the NPCs were gone. I was confused, so today I came back and placed a camera with a night vision mod you used and I saw that a Stalker spawned and killed the NPCs and my Night vision broke, and then later the Stalker disappeared.

I've attempted to bring one npc with me in the dark room, as soon as i tried to step out of it, he dissappeared followed by a loud noise that might have been the electric sound effect for the thrusters (i do not know if electric is the right name for it).

"night vision" by spy: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=224378049 was the only one that truly worked well with camera usage, however the light aspect is from the player rather than viewpoint hence the heavy use of thermal vision since it allows npc visibility.
