FRESNEL LENS can melt rocks, metal, EVERYTHING! 1000 degrees of heat is enough to make obsidian from rock!

WHAT IS FRESNEL LENS?
Fresnel lens is a type of composite compact lens developed by the French physicist Augustin-Jean Fresnel (1788-1827) for use in lighthouses. It has been called "the invention that saved a million ships.
Fresnel lens, succession of concentric rings, each consisting of an element of a simple lens, assembled in proper relationship on a flat surface to provide a short focal length. The Fresnel lens is used particularly in lighthouses and searchlights to concentrate the light into a relatively narrow beam.

It's amazing that Daewoo lanos is still running. If Daewoo Motors had existed until now, Korean cars would have been more recognized worldwide along with Hyundai Motors (+Kia+Genesis).

You know I was thinking about our water shortage problems and was thinking about desalination plants to produce more fresh water problem is it takes a lot of energy to heat up the water to boiling point so I was wondering is this lens able to make a pot of water boil by putting the tip of the light pyramid into the water.
