Try turning them on one by one first with a 100watt resistor in series on one of the wires , interesting experiment ,,a great sacrifice for scientific community watching it .

I've always wondered what would happen. 😅 good job. Just maybe next time set the switch/breaker a bit further from the inverters. Haha.

Now please do a video where you do just like what you said: synchronize them; OPEN them up,modify them ,one master one slave, so that both outputs are in sync,then put the lamp BETWEEN them, in series,and if the lamp does NOT light (no current flowing),then hook them up; better with a dual trace oscilloscope...we'd love to see that.

Could you set them up like you would parallel a generator plug parallel cables plug and turn on one inverter and the turn on the second one. Woul that sync them? Not have them on before you connect them but after. When paralleling generators you don’t fire them both up and then connect them together
@Rcrdo0722 жыл бұрын
But we can parallel connect the 2 inverters to one source of battery to atleast distribute the loads to both inverters?

yeah booth inverters start working as referse inverters :P and that probably burnt tcoils and mofsets makes sense. so probably we need to disable one of the control signals and use only one of mofset drivers circuits instead ... ie copy /paralel connections from one mofsets gate plus and negative signals to other. so signals will be in sync. and probably even on alternate side polarities needs to be checked. as for mofsets its polarity switching circuit which means they are actually still dc on input and output. if you consider 50hz timings

Good inspiration . For this experiment , conclusion is strong old will burn out the weaker one. either one will death. what if we make them in phase?

Actually it was stupid and waistful , You could have just read the manual ! The manual tells you weather they are capable of this or not ! They even say why there not able to do this ! So if he would have just read the manual or looked this information up online he could have learned the same thing without burning up the equipment ! WOW ! I am never shocked anymore .

I bought a vevor inverter very expensive and should do 3kw peak 6kw. I used it alone not with another and used max 600w on it and after a month smoke came out and it was on fire. Would like to build my own or use a lot of cheap ones say 150w ones to make a string to make up the lot. Anyone has any ideas on how to do this without blowing it?

Would it make any difference if you powered one, then connect, then power the second? I am fairly sure they need to be "syncable", i.e. smart enough to look for and sync to a sine wave. Thats how you are supposed to sync portable inverter generators, but definitely no expert. It was fun to see the magic smoke though!

What you can do is: Open both the inverters. Connect the DC side 300V capacitors of both the inverters in parallel and you're done
@cmnk88402 ай бұрын
I don't think that would help. The issue is with making both inverters run with the same frequency and phase
@TechnoEveryday2 ай бұрын
@@cmnk8840 i am suggesting dc side (before the h-bridge where 370VDC are made). On dc side there's no frequency matching or synchronization issue
@cmnk88402 ай бұрын
@@TechnoEveryday I understand your suggestion to parallel on the DC side. But that would not help because, after the DC side is the inverter stage on both inverters where both the inverters would run without synchronisation which is the main problem here.
