Probably just a dummy grenade. Who want to get showered by a thousand shrapnel traveling at speed of sound that have a lethal radius of 5 to 15 meter? Edit: if the channel use the real RGD 5 grenade, the nokia would probably be destroyed with some bits left.

The grenade is not real. If the RGD 5 grenade is real the nokia will probably be destroyed with some bits of the phone left. And the grenade lethal radius is 5 meter to 15 meter. So if you gonna take the pin off and let the safety handle detached you only have a few second to run before the grenade detonate, killing or injuring people within 15 meter. And no one want to see a dead body on a video so they have to use a fake one.
