Experiments with Poland and Germany. 7 different battles, 6 of which Poland in a different way to strengthen for victory over Germany. The situation is simulated in the game Hearts of iron 4.

i swear historical germany is buffed and nerfed depending on what year it is, at the start even better and more divisions can't stop them. Yet at the end it feels like anything can and just push through them, even if they have full org and strength

I think it mostly depends on research and division design. Whenever I play HOI4, Germany is easy late game mainly because they have no equipment, or they lost all their newer equipment and are using older ones.

No, Germany is much is easier to beat at 1939 instead of 1941, because they have better equipment industry from surrendered nations and army experience from actual fights, they are not strong or op, just allies nations are designed to be weak early without world tension.

They are not buffed, they work exactly like intended in the Game. Germany gets early boosts for Mobile Warfare, giving their divisions good Organisation, which means they hold out in battles longer, making them win more. To counter Mobile Warfare, build "Orgwall" units. Simple 27-30 width Infantry, engineers, supp Arty maybe if you're richer Anti Tank to kill some of their Hardness, Entrenchment is your best friend.

Well in the end makes sense why poland won becuse they were a ton more stronger even if they started loseing at the start but most of the time poland cant win

I mean Poland actually isn't that much weaker then base Germany in hoi4, it's mainly industry that's the issue.

Intresting thing to see would be if: Germsny losses all starting + game buffs and poland gains 1 - 3 forts on each border tile and about 40 more divstions
