Where is this yes man issue from.... Poch failed.... he knew the expectation, he agreed to work in the setup as a head coach not a manager... so where from these issues. Even with the injuries Chelsea still had a proper squad to compete top4but look at where we ended. How can you dra and lose to 4 bottom clubs after winning against better sides the previous week with the same squad and expect to continue

Given the choices, yes. I totally don't get Frank. Maresca vs DZB it is and Dzb just got that much more over Maresca. LCFC won the championship by one point while having the strongest and most expensive squad in the championship. Plus mentality wise, say what you will about Dzb, he has that winner mentality. He is hungry for success in a scary way. Reminds me of Jose early on. The chosen one mentality.

De Zerbi by far the most elite manager on that list. Chelsea are not stupid, they literally let go of Poch just to get De Zerbi. De Zerbi with Chelsea’s backing will go on to do great.

The management merry go round is always fascinating to hear about, especially the processes some clubs employ to select their next manager/head coach. As it stands more recent, managers/head coaches know that Chelsea and Man U have a certain and frequent turnover, so when they get sacked they’re in for a substantial lump sum, that’s just the way it is just now, so how many go there just knowing that alone. 🤷♂️

De Zerbi is a bit too much fire for what Chelsea want at the moment I think. Maresca is kind of the new up and coming coach with great potential who worked and admired Pep, I think they will go with him. Thomas Frank is a great guy, I love his interviews, he does a pretty good job at Brentford, I don't think he will leave them.

Well he left Brighton on mutual consent. You think they would fire him ? Also the reason why he left are club ambitions. Instead of trying to keep key players they would sell 3-4 of them in one transfer window and he got nowhere near good replacements plus injuries of key players, playing multiple competitions with thin bench and etc.

The mutual consent was largely because he upset Tony Bloom and results following the loss to Roma were very poor. However, fans love RDZ, his passion and style and hoped less injuries and some new signings would see him come back in the new season. RDZ did not want to leave, he is on record for this.

Bruhhh I'm sorry but having someone who works with Pep doesn't mean much, Arteta barely succeed yet winning the big ones coming to his 5th year incharge of Arsenal and Maresca just have the strongest squad in the championship which he almost bottle the league title towards the end of the season. As much as it goes ETH would be a good choice and available once United sack him, not bad that even throughout a bad campaign he still got a cup in the 2 season he's been incharge and not to say beating Pep in the final. Would be more of an ideal choice.

Was Arteta successful in his first year I can't remember I believe it was a disaster. If Poch only got a year the new man will get the same, the best man is Tomas Frank and can't always play possession football all the time. Some matches have to played with pragmatism to win the game, even Pep does that. Teams who park the bus have to have the long ball played against them to break their resolve. Cech to Dogba route one bam.
