I had no idea that Gabumon was a reptile. I always thought it was some sort of wolf-like or canine-like Digimon. Thanks for enlightening me!

You might want to look up Black Gabumon again. From the info I know, it's actually not violent at all but as still very shy just like regular Gabumon.

I think the Nightmare Soldiers gene represents the werewolf aspect of his line. In some folklore werewolves are considered undead. Also "loup garou" is the French word for werewolf, If I remember correctly. Hence the name Garurumon. Keep in mind that not all lychantropy is described the same. For instance, in D&D a werewolf is at max power when he or she shifts completely into a wolf, with the bipedal, anthropomorphic version being an incomplete transformation. My guess is that the creators of Garurumon assumed that the half humanoid version had more power in the form of intelligence and tactics, rather than the raw speed of the full wolf version, which is why they made the bipedal version stronger. Plus, you know, it looks cooler.

Astemon is also related to Quartzmon. I'd love a Quartzmon subject video. He kinda freaks me out because of some of the stuff he did in the Japan exclusive Xros Wars 3 but it'd be interesting to know more about Quartzmon. Thanks dude. I think Gandalf´s and Galadriel´s rings are made of mythril though. The one ring is made of gold. Dunno why exactly read it up a couple of weeks ago, but it had something to do with morgoth tainting all metls mostly gold

And lastly the correlation of werewolves AND wolves to the night and the moon, where a full moon is often associated with myths and magic, so it's no surprise that it both belongs to the virus buster group AND the nightmare soldier group, because it's a purely mythical creature that has a duality of good and bad

Oh and just so you know, Astamon and Belphemon sleep mode and rage mode has *2* different rookie levels. Psychemon & Phascomon. Phascomon is part of Belphemon's *_real_* evolution line.

That was a good video as always .^^ As for what you said about Psychemon it does have a Champion form it is called Gururumon a Subspecies/Variation of Garurumon who uses high-temperature flames spewed from its mouth and then it evolves into Astamon but of course it is possible for a Digimon to jump from Rookie to Ultra immediately just like you said Psychemon could, but it does have a Champion form, as for the Mega level it can evolve to Belphemon sleep mode but it's direct evolution seems to be Tactimon.

25:17 well I do prefer Pokémon for video games as gamefreack pretty much mastered a monster RPG scenario game as well as the game is being my childhood. As a TV show digimon wins because it actually has a good story that has really good twist and turns For marketing well... Pokémon kind of stomps on digimon through marketing of any kind really Pokémon seems to be a little more easier to understand in away because there’s not so many connecting evolutions or different variations of the same monster. Plus the typing is very understandable on which beats what as well as the evolutions making a bit more sense compared to digimon. As a whole digimon is ok I don’t get the same enjoyment when I’m playing a Digimon game compared to a Pokémon game But I do get a lot more enjoyment watching the digimon tv shows compared to the Pokémon ones

zeedgarurumon is the result of a special evolution done with only a kind of digivice. It is one of the arbitrators of the digital world along side victorygreymon, who come to be when yggdrassil got corupted. It IS the strongest vesion of garurumon up to date.

I think Fangmon is the true missing link to Psychemon and Astamon especially if you consider he’s data type, and it’s stated that if garurumon is the wolf of light, Fangmon is the wolf of darkness

I remember seeing Psychemon and Tsukaimon among others wandering around the map in Digimon World way back when and for a long time I thought they were jus simply recolours of their recogniseable counterparts, Gabumon and Patamon respectively due to their Animé roles! In fact I can only think of ONE time in the anime where it takes it off in front of someone, that being the time Matt and Gabumon were separated from the other digidestined and got caught in a snow storm, they took shelter in a cave to wait out the storm, Matt fell asleep but began shivering from the cold. Fearing for the health of his partner, Gabumon took off his pelt and wrapped it around the UNCONSCIOUS boy. When the storm was over, Matt awoke to Gabumon running out of the cave to put his pelt back on(you only see his tail and bit of his back)

When it comes to Elemental Affinity, gabumon really does confuse me because it's all over the place really. Seems like it's supposed to be tied to the elements of ice, but blue Blaster is a fire attack, so is howling Blaster from garurumon. But in some games weregarurumon drops the fire element completely and is tied to the Earth, and then metalgarurumon goes and becomes a cyborg and has a bunch of ice attacks, but then the Digi egg of friendship causes anyone who uses it to gain electric properties and it's just like... Geez make up your mind Agumon is fire and it sticks with fire😂
