Let us talk about RENAMON (a heavily requested Digimon). I admit, the Digimon is pretty dope. There is not much to add. Lots of folklore and myths associated to its forms. Lots of history. That is the beaty of Digimon. There is so much you could learn from it.

This is my sister's favorite in Tamers. But I didn't really know about the second branch of Renamon's evolutions. I remember seeing Doamon is Digimon Fusion but that's it.

You should do a video on Sephirothmon, or heck, the entire Steel Spirits line up and their significance in the wider Digimon lore. Maybe throw in few potential rookie forms like Hagurumon, Ludomon, or Mirrormon.

Some time ago someone in part suggested a buddy cop pairing between Lucario and Miragegaogamon with the two they are eternally chasing being Zoroark and Sakuyamon. Thematically they fit given the histories and abilities of these individuals. Lucario is a hound of which none can hide from, Miragegaogamon is a hound of which none can escape, Zoroark is by nature a master of illusions, and Sakuyamon is a cat burglar/shrine maiden that is by nature mysterious and hard to figure out. These four are ideal for a buddy cop story that is in essence a mix between Sly Cooper or Lupin III and Sherlock Hound, an eternal game of fox and the hound where the hounds will never catch the foxes but the foxes will never escape the hounds just like the Greek myth. Conceptually this is an excellent basis for a story and I applaud those who put these four together.

I remember watching Renamon Digivolve for the first time, at tge time I was such a huge Naruto fan and Kyubimon was a very happy, Noticing the Tomoe made me love the Renomon line more lol

As a kid I was always curious about Gazimon. It appeared in the first season as a low level grunt. So I was curious about it's evolutions. The wikia doesn't really show any kind of true evolution, only generic stuff.

Hi nostalgia i love your videos and im a big fan of renamon. So i want tell ask about the other variant of kyubimon the one thats a vaccine, its furr is silver ans its flames are more redish and it also evolves to taomon vaccine and silver or grey color. This can be a connection with sakuyamon mutant from digimon linkz

Renamon is one of the very few digimon that is part of both the Virus Busters and Nightmare Soldiers. One of the very few examples who also fits this is Omnimon. Why are these 2 of the only digimon to fit this description

With Renamon its very likely part of its Tao-inspired designs as well as reflecting its two distinct evolution lines which look the same but are very different in nature. Omnimon though is a bit odd. I guess the Nightmare soldiers family is supposed to reflect Garurumon's contribution to it, though oddly while Garurumon and WereGarurumon are nightmare soldiers, MetalGarurumon isnt.

Could potentially be from Garurumon, or reflect the fact that it is capable of evil. Going into corruption produces Omnimon Zwart, and driving it into insanity of deeper levels produces Zwart D and Alter B. Though they are still capable of doing good as well.

Ganemon Would be interesting but far to short. Cho·Hakkaimon or Betsumon would be interesting in they are anomalies among conventional digimon lore but honestly I would like a deeper look into the whole sistermon situation and censorship beirthed a third sistermon and how this potentially affects the tree and how there's now potentially a entire sect of nun based digimon who have yet to be written and speculation on were all this may be heading especially in the fact one of the royal knights shears a lot of symbolism and design with the sistermon's so there's a potential templar connection or at minimum inquisitor.

So I've asked a few times, gotta keep asking because you would really be the only person who would know for sure. Would you consider making a video on the dig-modify function the tamer digi-destined' digivices had? It seems like a powerful tool to have and like it should be a standard thing on digivices but later in the series they stopped using it all together. It almost seemed like they treated it like a cheap way for low level Digimon to get stronger but that doesn't really make sense. The ability to copy a move or item onto another Digimon (especially if it scales to the user) should be an overpowered game changer. This should be useful even if you have to scan the Digimon you're copying. It doesn't make sense to disregard this when you could give someone terraforce or the omega blade or possibly even just the all delete command. Even if it's only as powerful as the user it would still give tactical advantage and abilities/equipment you didn't have access to before.

From what I understand it was a gimmick that Tamers used & it involved using Digimon Cards that the children already had from playing the cardgame. Xros Wars had cases of using Digixros in a similar way without the likely limitations that the Cards from Season 3 had. I think the cards may have been single use if I remember Tamers correctly & I know that some of them were quite rare. Starmon & Pickmons could easily xros to become a sword, of course Digixros was more productively used to fuse digimon together to achieve stronger forms.

It's the same as Armor digievolving. It was super cool and they could have expanded on it throughout the seasons but it pretty much died in season 2. It feels like the money masters of digimon only care about the quick buck instead of evolving the things they have

Well Armor Digivolving is a bit different as the Armor Digimon still appear & Armor Level is still mentioned in later series. Frontier had Spirit Evolution which was in some ways an expanded form of Biomerging from Tamers, although it was only really for that season. Still Spirit Digimon would appear in later series. As for Savers/Data Squad there were the Burst Modes, which I want to say only ever returned in some of the games following the start of Xros Wars. I think Digixros is finished now, although DNA Digivolving from Our War Game & Adventure 02 seems to still survive. X Digimon also frequently return in the games.

@@bookmew1081 Not sure in what sense you're talking about. Sure those armor Digimon appeared but it wasn't in the context of how they first appeared. Like armor Digimon showing up in the frontier movie. They didn't explain why they were armor Digimon only that they were human and beast Digimon. No other anime series has made a call back to Digimon needing the eggs to digievole since 02, also some armor Digimon done can be digievoled into naturally. As for the frontier Digimon they show up but are in no way same lore context as Digimon season 4. Even in the xros wars manga agunimon and kazemon ( wind sprit) were on the team but no one was like " like get all sprites together so we can make a literal God Digimon to battle the other god Digimon". I think the original point was that after mid season the tamers stopped using the cards to help the Digimon once they digievoled. Their ultimate forms could have gotten boosts in battle with different cards or one tamer could have went heavy on the cards in later battles. Like it would have been fun to see some try and use a virus crush card or deleation card on the D reaper. I also think the original was within a singular season not muiple seasons. Xros wars and savers kept up DNA and xrosing digiutions throughout the series. After thought. I compared it to armor digievoling because they could have expanded other Digimon uses different eggs. Or the holy Digimon having to use armor digievole in order to survive. During points in digimons history. A good example from frontier could have been baromon. An armor Digimon who is a survivor of the old generation. Easy slam dunk, he used a digiegg artifact of courage at the advice of ancient greymon to transform. Then was tasked with recorded the history of the digital world after the great battle. Thats kind what I mean being a one thing gimmick. The Digimon show up in later seasons but usually only as fan service instead using the threads from other seasons to give those things more meaning when hard-core fan watch them. Last side note which would have been super fun in tamers. Is if someone tired to digimodify with an armor digiegg card. Since it was a TV show in the universe anyway.

yeah, though it basically is the same as regular kyubimon in every way and has no mega form so doesnt really do anything other than exist as trading card filler. only thing we know is different is that its slightly faster than regular kyubimon

Is it just me, or would a Renamon and their evolutions be perfect for a proper historical ninja? While she is still supernatural with her abilities, and ninjas obviously didn't use any actual magic, her abilities still would be perfect for stealth and distraction rather than assassination. Ninjas in real life mostly were not assassins, anyway, but primarily intel gatherers. She would need to be covered in dark blues; not black; for nighttime missions, though. Another thing that I noticed in Yin and Yang itself is that the circles of the opposite color within the sides may possibly represent that each side also does have a little bit of their own opposite within; that nothing is purely one or the other. I'm not sure if that was actually the intention, however; or if that is simply a coincidence.

No mentioning of the Silver Version? Taomon is a Demon Man Digimon, and Sakuyamon a God Man. I understand the Compromise to use Dub Terminology for Names, and Level, but if your specifically talking about Digimon Lore, using Dub Classes just falsify your Statements. I mean by that Logic Mercurymon would be a Perfect, and Garudamon a Ultimste/Mega, cause my Dub confused them. And Dokugumon in Savers would be in a Group of fully matured Digimon, cause the Dub missunderstood the Adultlevel, and didnt translated it into Champion. Translations arent realy a good Reference for Lorevideos. And im pretty sure your Followers would have liked you mentioning, and explaining the original Titles.
