For the manga I am creating, I have made a power system that is in depth and can be complex like nen, but have toned it down to make it easier for people to understand. Wonderful as Nen can be it can be too complex sometimes, so I taken that into account and put that into my own system.

Transformation, weapons and armor, nen beasts, tech, pocket dimensions, elements, things that affect other people's aura like chain jail or apr, and the list goes on. It's basically anything you can think of with the right conditions. There's a reason togashi uses it so much. It's essentially a slightly less versatile version of specialization and a less limited version of transmutation(always having to have your aura attached is a major hurdle for the class in my opinion). The only trade off is being further away from enhancement. But if your ability is good enough, that can be overcome(like kite).

Shut off aura with chain jail, track people and detect lies/block bullets with dosing chain, and steal hatsu/aura with steal chain(though he can't use them or analyze them without emperor time). While he's at his peak with emperor time, he's by no means a bad example of a normal conjuror.

The conditions to actually make it work are near impossible to do. You need to see the hastu in person, ask them a question *AND* get an answer, and finally they also need to put their hand on the hand print of the book. This all needs to be done in *1 HOUR* or you have to start over. Also if the original user dies the hatsu disappears from the book so you can't even kill them once you have it.

Don Frecees I think the best assumption to make is that Netero's hatsu is a specialist ability that came about as the result of his 50 years of training. He is originally an enhancer and it seems his 100 Type Guanyin Bodhisattva uses nearly all of the nen characteristics in a way similar to Kurapikas emperor time. I could be wrong though and it could be just his own full grasp of all 5 types (each limit being represented in the placement, movement of the hands, strict summoning conditions and Netero's manual control). It's a statue that he conjures and he must manipulate it. It's enhanced strength is shown when he was able to smack away Pitou and Meruem and he also emits most if not all of his nen to it which is why he is basically defenseless if someone gets past it. I don't know if he transmutes the aura at all, but probably to an extent. The conclusions I can gather are either A) he became a specialist and his ability represents that or B) his training allowed him to use every nen type but up until the natural limits (i.e. emissions at 80% but conjuration at 60%).

@ taloutezero ive looked into this and apprently he use only three types of nen at 100% which is emitter to make his aura appear outside his body then he enhances it to the max so its one of the hardest substance made of nen then he uses manipulation for arm movements. The technique however is limited to neteros memory i think because ALL the moves netero makes are prerecorded, there must be hand gestures he makes that a certain move for example the 99th hand gesture. Also the hands move at the speed of his hands only which is another restriction, he must always put his hands together to be able to do another move, he cant use nen when he uses his hatsu only the 100 type bodhivista(whatever its called) which is another restriction, because his hands are so fast he is probably the only person able to control this his hatsy technique, it would probably be useless is someone elses hands as it will move too slowly leaving the person defenseless against any attack. The statue seems to be always behind him meaning he really relies on memory alone when he moves the hands. The shape of the statue is probably the result of his discipline, his balanced spirit, his wishes, his dreams, his beliefs which is why it seems unreal, ethereal like, godly. (I assume)

Even in the story itself, Killua and Gon essentially roast Kirapika's strength by saying that they didn't want to be strong in the same way that he was because of how limiting his power was. First off, HxH chars are pretty much sound speed or above post nen training, the reason why netero's punches seem so fast are because his punches travel a smaller distance than say, someone running, your eye lashes miove at less than 100mph yet you can kinda see a car going 200mph even if you blink once or twice, because your eyelashes are traveling centimeters unlike the car.

In theory? Yes, though the person in question still needs to pass a certain threshold of strength to actualize the ability and overcome their target. In Kurapika's case(technically a random villager, even though he's a main character) his strongest abilities have restrictions centered around the Phantom Troupe and his grudge against them for slaughtering his clan, and the consequences for violating those restrictions is death. Also, exceeding one's limits in one way or another can shorten one's lifespan or kill outright, though a potent enough grudge or force of will can cause Nen to persist or even strengthen after death; Nen-based 'curses' tend to do this.
