I think we need to accept this is who we are now just an ordinary team. Most times i feel am i the only one who can see this and come to terms with it and accept it, even though i hate it. Of course we had standards but times have changed and we have lost our way as a team, we have players tearing the team apart and surviving. This is going to take so many years to fix and even find players with the mentality of the past. You know when something happens in your life, you stand there and feel that this is it. Well i had that feeling the moment Fergie retired and at that moment i just said it aloud Infront of other fans, "this is it, our reign is over" I was just looked at. I had an epiphany come to mind, i just knew at that very moment that it's game over. That United will struggle and somebody asked "what do i mean this is over" and i simply replied; " I have a feeling we're going to go through 10 years of hurt and 30 years of pain, it's our time to end up where Liverpool was ". I have been saying this for years but my comments usually fall on deaf ears and at that time after a drink I quoted " Underdogs will rise and Titans will fall ". I predicted all of this even down to the manager scenario of chop and change, and quoted this on channels for a decade now. I love my badge but hating what the club as become. We are not going to go anywhere unless the fanbase accepts this and supports the badge like lesser teams do, but i feel the fanbase won't change and that pressure will mount until it explodes. I made my peace with it and it hurts seeing us in this situation but like they say nothing lasts forever. I still love the badge and what it stands for and that's all that matters.
