An overview of the equipment you'll need to start live caricaturing with pen and paper, and a quick look at my live caricaturing process. Have fun! Music: Repurpose from soundcloud.com/explodecreative

I love ur commentary. Ur very honest and I chuckled a few times. "I know he has glasses, but I just can't be bothered." Lol that's exactly how I feel about them too!

So keen to see more hand drawn sketches. Please :-) Also do you play guitar? So curious
Okay so I have a question any caricature artist can answer....is there a written or unwritten rule that says using an under sketch in a live arena is not allowed? This question is based more on the digital caricature arena since that layer can be deleted at the end...A basic under sketch takes what 15-20 seconds to lay in the basic shape..I personally like the idea of using an under sketch in any situation, so is there a rule against it? Thanks to anyone who answers

I actually really like doing an under sketch and still do, it allows me to test out the likeness before I go ahead with pen. The caricaturist I was working under at the time had done it for years without an undersketch, but I dont really feel confident enough with freehand to give it up yet.

Lorenzo G Thomas well it seems that there is as i have never seen a live one do it. Im in the ancient and omg they are still alive category. I have always wanted to do portraits ...i paint animals with human features...emotions...anyway u have NEVER been able to and one day while watching anither of these in the HOT SUN....i thought dang...maybe i could do that....its not as easy as it looks. At least for me. I stikl fall back onto realism rather than poking fun.
