I literally used to play a game with the exact same rules all of my childhood but with regular cards.

The real strategy: Your signal is doing nothing. You and your partner spend the entire game scratching, rolling your eyes, closing your hands etc. and the moment you do nothing, that's your signal

"You have crabs" directly translated in Bulgarian means "You have cancer!"

So I think I see how things works, we have two sets of interactions for the accusations, the crab pot interaction, done if the team is accusing themselves, and the swap interaction, done by two members of different teams accusing the other, with each having two interactions, their being both an incorrect, and correct option, with the crab pot interaction having the powerful double crabs rule, the crab pot interaction is the extremes and reguire the two to remember their crabs signs, cause if you both get it correct, then getting triple crabs is amazing, but you could lose a crab to a crab pot, while the swap interactions are more in between, being all about manipulation, you can get the good one thanks to false signs but don’t be predictable.

i feel like you can do this with a deck of cards and use something like poker chips, coins, or anything else for (Crabs).

Crab in German means Krebs which is the same word for cancer in German. So you are technically saying "YOU HAVE CANCER" ?

Any one else notice that they’re taking old card games and reworking them? You’ve Got Crabs is Kemp Exploding Kittens is Russian Roulette Throw Throw Burrito is Spoons Im sure their other games match with other old card games too. It’s kinda interesting but at least EK and TTB add extra features outright. This game is literally flat out just Kemp with a reworked deck unless you buy the expansion.

This is one of the top favorite games of my family and I. The only one that tops it is mafia. This is so much fun. 😄

Your symbol should be one of your fingers. Start with your left hand. Each round you move on to the next finger. Do the symbol when you are one card picking up from getting crabs. Wait for a second, for your opponents to 'You Have Crabs' you. Then you opponent says you've got crabs. This usually works and we completely dominated the game I played.

This is how my best friend and I always win we make super subtle secret signs and when i have crabs she waits until i make the fake secret signal to say you've got crabs

This doesn’t feel like cheating but it is an exploit of logic: The signal is “When I have crabs, I tap the table an amount of times equal to 1+2n where n is the amount of times I have had crabs before. If I do not have crabs, I may tap the table an incorrect amount of times to trick the opponents.” This could absolutely be cheating but it technically doesn’t break any rules - it’s just insanely complicated.

Oh I just searched "secret signals for game" on the internet and boom, kemps showed up, same rules with this one. But I want this game! :o

Did this strategy once and it worked I told my teammate all the signals i could do, and that i would be using all of them. Somee will be obvius, but i can use it the first time to make my teammate say i got crabs, and a second time tl make the other team say i got crabs
