Esperance, on Western Australia's south coast, boasts tranquil beaches like Blue Haven and surf spots at West Beach. The nearby Recherche Archipelago hosts fur seals and sea lions, and Middle Island's Lake Hillier is famous for its pink color. Occasionally, Pink Lake in town also turns pink.
March and April are ideal for visiting due to mild, comfortable temperatures perfect for outdoor activities. We visited in June, enjoying cool and dry weather. The beaches in Esperance were the best. Although I felt unlucky not to see Pink Lake turn pink, we saw many dolphins at the beach and played in the waves. At the jetty, people were fishing and catching some fish.
