Explore Light Beams With the Laser Viewing Tank | Arbor Scientific

Designed by California Physics Teacher Dean Baird, this versatile system allows students to see and control light beams. When the scattering agent is added to water in the plastic tank, it makes laser beams visible. Students can easily control observations involving simple #refraction and total internal #reflection. If you are refering to the "Scattering Agent" that is added to the water in the tank, the kit comes with a solution for that purpose and allows the light beam to show up in the water while still keeping the water clear and transparent. If you want to try doing it yourself for an experiment, you could try using "PIne Sol" cleaning solution available from the grocery store.

Kiels La Famá if you want a homemade one,just use a normal glass aquarium and put water with a bit of milk in the aquarium.

ActiveStorage suppose the container has an index of refraction similar to water. Then total internal reflection will not occur at the water-container interface, but rather at the container-air interface. This means that when the light re-enters the water, it will be offset, since there was some horizontal travel of the beam in the container material.

Present 🙋👍"scatter" "agent" Your using liguid chalk instead of dry chalk for the "scatter" (which is defined by the action of the object but what is causing the scattering?gravity right? Do you watch your own videos? What did you learn from this one? I learned that Scat,scatter or scattered is all SCATOPHAGY.explain "Agent" to the people too.
