Situated a few miles west of Interstate 5, the San Luis Reservoir is a picturesque spot linked to historic Pacheco Pass along Highway 152 - a stretch of road once home to stagecoach crossings. It also has the distinction of being the largest off-stream reservoir in the United States, as it has no natural water source.
