Ver-MONT is the name of my state. Your narrator pronounces it like "VERmint", which sounds a lot like a group of small disease-spreading mammals. Thank you for saying nice things about my state, but it's painfully obvious that you scraped this video from secondary sources instead of coming here to experience it yourself. We would encourage and welcome you - it's gorgeous and friendly.

It's even worse than you think. It's a computer-generated voice (lots of travel videos unfortunately use them) and I wouldn't be surprised if the content was also written by AI and pared with stock images. Hardly a penny was spent on this video, but it might be raking in advertising money for its "creators."

It's a computer-generated voice. Unfortunately, a lot of travel videos use them. It's very jarring. I can't imagine it would be too expensive to hire a human to narrate. And you're right. The computer probably never visited Vermont.
