DID YOU SEE PART 4??? • HUGE FAIL! 76 BREAKS D...
The Journey continues as Tiff and I push forward our EPIC trip in the Northern Territory. Last time we had a huge fail on the Tanami Road while making our way to Halls Creek. After repairing the 76 we had another crack and managed to complete the Tanami and get onto the Gibb River road. This time we are exploring some points of interest on the Gibb, slowly making our way to EL Questro. Wicked camping, Crocodiles and swimming holes. The Gibb has it all.
Note: These videos were filmed JUNE/JULY 2019.

We were also on the gib june/July 2019 travelling East to West was an epic leg of our journey.. we detoured north through Kalumburu up to Honeymoon bay.. 1580km off the beaten track & our Hilux dragged our 20ft van with zero problems. Will definitely be back 😉 P.S. WA not NT @renegadejourney

When we were there at manning Gorge the first time we swam across floating polystyrene boxes with our stuff in them to the other side, there was no tinny it was swim or walk the long way around.

Tunnel creek is a beautiful spot. First time I was there it was just the two of us, the water was neck deep and no torches. Got the adrenaline going I can tell you! Looks like you didn't get as far as Mitchell Falls. Shame, but it's an excuse to go back another time. I recommend next time you go earlier in the year when the water levels are higher.

Awesome video guys. April next year we are taking 10weeks off work to do WA and Gibb is on the list. At least the flies didn't look bad, that'll keep my misses happy. What time of year did you travel?

Hi looks great , what is the difference between a salt and fresh water crock ?

Bush 50 hey mate! Salt water are very dangerous and super aggressive. Freshwater crocs can still be dangerous but are not as aggressive and don’t grow quite as big. That’s the basic gist.

Tunnel creek is the sketchiest place. When I was like 10 me and my family walked through tunnel creek and there was Salt water croc on one of the banks. My dad needed to change his pants. That little tinny with the winch has been there for 8 years.

Explore 4x4 That little tinny has had a few accidents. My friend got his finger suck in the old winch and he had his finger sliced up. Good to see they changed the design of the Winch.

Rodney Plumb Depends on how heavy you are loaded up, speed & how stiff you’re tyre wall is etc. I ran around 30psi and averaged 70-80kmh but I was pretty heavy... 3t ute pulling a 3t van. I have run Nitto Ridge grapplers on our lap of Aus can’t recommend better rubber.. but no matter the make of tyre expect accelerated tyre wear as the surface is pretty rocky & not a dirt track.

I think I ran about 28 in the rear and 26 in the front. But I really depends on what brand tyres you have, size and how much weight. Every tyre bags out differently depending on the side walls. Play around with a few and see what feels good and you can tell when you you sit down. 🤙

But it is a light truck. Just separates from cars. Easy to say. It may be too late now, every one is saying truck build etc. It's every where. But hey, the American offroaders are our brothers and sisters now and we share each others language differences.
