Food looked great, but you'd think for 80 bucks they'd keep stuff cleaner and be more on the ball at keeping the food tubs stocked. There seemed like a lot of them that were near empty and the salad dressings were a mess. But all in all, I miss those. Not worth it since my appetite isn't what it once was. lol

Hi Dorothy. It’s hard to catch as we are panning the camera down the buffet line, but there are several folks wiping down the buffet. The main problem here is the crowd. There are way more people in attendance at one time and they emptied and make a mess very quickly. Thank you for watching!

Tipping: if they are doing something specific for you; tip. Crepes, omelettes, mixed drinks, pastas, soups. As far as carving, no. It's standard cutting. Unless you are asking for specific cuts.

15:33 - you gotta dip that crab in melted butter, its even better that way. yum, great footage of the king crab. i got a box of king crab at costco a few weeks ago, and it was very good. but was about 34 bucks a pound, so even at a discount warehouse type of place, it was up there in price. but super tasty. i did a video of it on my page not too long ago.

King crab only is worth it....wished I lived closer. Here in the midwest it's hella expensive for king crab. We eat that like once in a blue moon...

glad you caught it... will be a long time before we see king crab back... if ever (king crab fishing season was canceled this year, over a billion crabs vanished in the artic... so no supply)... worth it? I guess if they never serve it again... or for a special occasion... Guess, I'll have to go back to standing in line at Southpt... lol

Notice the King Crab legs were NOT split in half as before the pandemic. Why? The Bellagio Buffet claimed that the King Crab “dries out” when cut in half. Is that true? I believe that once exposed to air, the king crab will slowly dry out. However, this is frozen and the King Crab doesn’t sit around very long to dry out (in my humble opinion). I suggest you bring a special King Crab shell-cutter as a strategy.

The king crab was really good. Although I prefer they don’t split them, I wish they would have pre cracked them. They did have cracking devices, but you had to ask to get them. Thank you for watching!

I'm tired of Vegas restaurants and buffets not honoring their hours of operation! Was at Bellagio earlier in December and it was a FRIDAY night. Had planned on using food comps at the buffet that night. Showed up at 8:15 PM. The sign said they were open until 9 PM on Fridays. However the place was closed and not a soul in sight. I'd come by earlier and it was in operation. The same thing happened the very next night over at STACK at the Mirage. C'mon! Not even open at normal dinner hours on a Friday and Saturday night?

I don’t know why no one hasn’t brought this back at least once a week. I know with the good buffets id pay a premium. Honestly if bacchanal offered a day with Lobster and King Crab I’d pay $145 a person.

King crab legs look good for the price but joke aside you should see what they served us in employee food hall. Let me just say I wouldn't feed my dogs with some of the food they give us lol. Great video as always!

I have a range. For carvers $2.00 for those making me anything made to order $3.00. My server gets 20%, Vegas runs on tips and I refuse to be chintzy. The Lamb chops and King Crab tooked fabulous.

I can’t wait to try it out We went for 2023 New Years and had the buffet twice in different days To hope they will have different food But after I seen Caesars buffet now, with a lot of variety of food This is so poor lol We didn’t even get that many options to chose from. In Canada, those king crab legs sell for 80 kg (costco) or at a market about 80 a lb! How does a buffet afford that? You would need to charge like 200 a person

Happy to see crab not sliced. It looses so much flavor and gets dry. This buffet looks great, and my husband and i hate Bacchanal. Bellagio buffet should be better, but I feel like it lacks the premium items and upscale presentation. I wonder if they plan to convert it into a food court like aria or resorts world. It's a shame, I loved Aria's buffet when we went. Only good ones left are really wynn and Wicked spoon.

I agree, I like when the crab isn’t sliced. I feel like it dries out quickly. I find Bellagio is good when they run a special gourmet version of their dinner during holidays. That’s when the premium items come out. It’s such a shame they converted the Aria buffet into a food court. Miss that one. Thank you for watching!

I don't know what it is about buffet pizza. It never looks appetizing. I once saw a buffet video where the buffet was getting their pizzas from a premium pizzeria that was in the same hotel. It still didn't look good. This is a great buffet, but the pizza looks poor.

i would go ONLY for the Kng and Queen crab, however the sushi was garbage, they could do much better with offerings, there was no Hamachi, no massago, no tobiko, no uni, no escolar, no octopus, no squid... very mundane very. again they NEED to do MUCH better sushi wise.

Someone else had a similar comment about tipping at the carving station, but said if they made a specific request (cook it on the grill or cut extra thick) they might tip.
